“We popped by to browse around the shop for car seats and prams. Laura was super helpful and on top of that she mentioned an antenatal course held in the store. We booked it and highly recommend it to expectant parents (great value!). The course is led by Rachel, an experienced midwife, an absolute star and wonderful woman. The classes are so well organised, informative and all in a lovely atmosphere. All thanks to Bashy, the shop owner, Rachel and Lauren. Thank you so much ladies for making our journey richer in this lovely experience.”

“Finally got a chance to write this review I booked my two little boys for hairdo style (a bit of gel) for my two young boys at Studio 8 barbers on the day of a family wedding. We turned up, and they said we had no appointment and had booked the wrong date (I did not, I mentioned the date twice at time of booking). I was freaking out as the wedding was in 1 hour. The barbers did not offer any advice/help, very cold towards us, and we walked out in a panic. Frantically, ran to The HIVE Barbers and we were welcomed with open arms. Did not have an appointment but kindly offered to help and calmed us down straight away. Styled both boys hair with a little gel, all done in less than 5 mins and didn't even charge a penny. Boys looked really smart, and style lasted all day. So so grateful for a kind-hearted, caring local business who actually care for local residents and went out his way, knowing the circumstances around the importance of the day. Did not profit a penny, yet gained a lot of respect and have spread of this kind, wonderful business. This happened summer 2024, sorry for late review.”

“This place is five ⭐ stars!! Afternoon event for a Holy Communion! Food, atmosphere and staff all amazing. A sense that they all enjoy their work!! Very clean and probably the best breakfast food I’ve had in years! Perfection!! Value for money also was a 5/5!!!! My son who has autism enjoyed his food and ate it so that’s a big compliment!!! We met with the team and although we were nervous when we arrived (as we have no idea about flowers!) Our minds were quickly put at ease with the level of experience and guidance the team have. After our consultation we were really excited to see the arrangements. We were not disappointed, the bouquets were beautiful and my bridal bouquet was exceptional. We also got lots of lovely comments about the corsages as well. I'd highly recommend Flowers by Harris for quality and value for money and will definitely be using their services again.
