“My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. “Only Indian restaurant we dine at, Menu is very varied,my favourite is the Shathkora, a medium curry with Lime, food quality and portions are spot on, service with a friendly smile, everytime. Moving soon into the precinct, so more room as its only a small restaurant currently. Prices are good, and the cobra is just right.”

“First time at this cafe. I ordered a black coffee, a coke and Traditional Eggs Benedict. The cafe was busy which shows how popular it is. The food was amazing. The eggs were cooked to perfection and were nice and runny. The bacon was also perfect. Not salty at all like some bacon. I’m always weary about ordering eggs Benedict as sometimes it’s not cooked properly and the sauce is tasteless, but not here. I actually wanted to lick the plate to get all the sauce. I will definitely be back xx”

“Was recommended to this little gem by my son the food was absolutely amazing I had the king prawns on sourdough the sauce was just amazing it was followed by spicy lamb koftas on a flatbread and again it was beautiful it was totally filling meal. I would recommend this venue to everyone. The chef must be a magician as we didn’t wait very long for our starters and main meal. The young lady who was serving us and bringing our food was very busy but was polite knowledgeable about some of our parties allergies and always had a smile on her face nothing was a trouble. The staff at the bar were very polite and smiling all the time. We had a wonderful evening and made our stay there absolutely great. The staff at the venue are a credit to the owner and management.”

“Amazing! Fresh, tasty, love that the sauce and salad is separate so food is really hot, salad crunchy, naan as it should be and not a soggy mess. Lots of meat which was all really well cooked. We ordered the apple pie, wish I had ordered 10........ordered from choices many times and had one not so brilliant meal so shopped around, mistake because nothing else has come close, hence we returned and so glad that we did. We also used our points tonight so the bill was really cheap, almost feel guilty using the points because the quality of the food was perfect. Delivered in really good time too, bonus, portion's are large so enough for lunch tomorrow too. That apple pie!”

“Great pub, great food. Been here a few times to dine all of which were great, most recently yesterday. Staff are friendly and helpful and always accommodating. The pub area is dog friendly with a log fire warming the pub, the restaurant is in the conservatory. Not been in the beer garden but it looks very spacious. The food is slightly more expensive than other pubs however the quality of food, venue and service justify this fairly.”

“This review is based on 1 particular meal, customer service, food quality and packaging in comparison to other takeaways I’ve been to in Manchester and London… I don’t usually give reviews unless I’ve been to a place on a number of occasions because sometimes like everyone else, we have bad days therefore, food or service might not be as consistent. However, fortunately to say - Heng Seng have been consistent over the years I have been going there. My review is based on the vegetable chow mien and chicken (halal) chow mien dishes alongside salt & pepper chips and prawn crackers (had other stuff too but I’m comparing to other takeaways). - Over the course of 5 years, me and my partner fell in love with their vegetable chow mien. Tonight, the chicken (halal) chow mien took that spot. Their chow mien is BANGING! Full of flavour, generous on the portion size and not just full of noodles (like some places). It’s not heavy on oil, doesn’t leave you feeling unhealthy or groggy - salt and pepper chips: again, good size, lots of flavour and not too much salt - prawn crackers: these are just right. A lot of places we’ve been to either tastes too fish or are too oily - so hands down, Heng Seng smashed it. We’ve always ordered our food then collected. Never had to wait long and customer service was always exceptional and first class. I’m not a food critic btw - I just know my flavours, oil and spices cos I’m an Asian! Plus I travel a lot. In summary, really impressed with this takeaway.”

“Stopped into this pub on the way home from a weekend wedding to break up our journey. The chef and host could not do anymore for us. The food (mikes kitchen) was delicious I had a chicken roast and my husband had a homemade pie. Our daughter is a fussy eater they accommodated her perfectly. There was no Turkey available on the Christmas menu, but there were plenty of other options available so we chose Gammon. The food was excellent quality and so delicious. We love the food and ambience here. A very nice place to eat and drink for any occasion.”
