“What an absolute gem of a place, huge place filled with all sorts of wonderful bits and pieces. Two floors of excellent quality good sturdy furniture. If you find a piece but its not quite the right colour have a chat with them and they see what they can do to lighten/darken it to suit you. Excellent find lovely place. even lovelier people that run the place (so sorry My memory is shocking when it comes to names) nothing it to much for them. “This business has been going for over 30 years. There is no fancy website. Not even contact details. We went into the shop and explained how we needed a repair to the seat of our sofa. We managed to take the cushion in and it was repaired within days using the fabric from our foot-stool. Our foot-stool was then recovered.”

Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. I was offered a drink whilst I waited at the bar which was amazing and then I was asked if I was ready to be seated upstairs. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff are so friendly and kind. “Flic decided to have a day out in Marple. We started at this lovely Robinson's pub next to Rose Hill station. I am pretty sure I have been here a few times many years ago. Large open plan and plush interior with TV's and an outside terrace, also with a TV. Stairs down to a small beer garden beside a large car park. Three of four handpumps in use on my visit. Went for a seasonal Pale Ale, AMO 4.4%. Really refreshing.”
