“Went for a meal for my partners birthday as a party of 9, staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough to help us, extremely welcoming from the start. The food was lovely and came within reasonable time for the amount of food we ordered I personally got the lamb rogan Josh and was worried the lamb would be quite fatty but it was perfect and no fat on it! My partner had the chicken tikka masala along with 2 other people on our table who all complimented how delicious it was, staff were back and forth taking drink orders and bringing stuff to our table, also accommodated children preparing them a meal they’d eat. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back! Thankyou everyone!”

“My friend and I visited John Gilbert on 19th December for lunch. Service was very good (by Casey). Both our meals were very tasty and served lovely and hot. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. A nice relaxing ambience. I would definitely recommend this pub both for food and service.”

“Have used Lytham dress agency on a few occasions and have always been super impressed. Sonia is always super helpful and knows a lot about what she sells. I have bought Mulberry bags of her and more recently a Mulberry purse which is just stunning I initially found the item on her Facebook page and contacted her through messages and then WhatsApp. She agreed to keep the item for me till I could collect. She is responsive and is happy to discuss and answer questions on any item you may be interested in. She has some lovely items and if you get chance to visit the shop itself then you won’t be disappointed.”

“Read some bad reviews on here, but we were very pleasantly surprised. No gloop, just very fresh veg/crunchy and decent portions. No oily mess. Tender chicken in plentiful amounts and good portion of ginger. Excellent really. I nearly popped back in to say how good it was, especially for mass produced food. Probably on high price end of medium, but very satisfied”

“Popped in the first time last week, then again this week. Their food especially chips (not fries) are massive and crispy and lovely MUCH better than chip shop ones.. imagine chip shop sized but French crisp fried! All food is clean and hot! (not greasy) properly cooked and delicious. And a breakfast for 5.50 is amazing! My new hangout!”
