The staff, Kirsty, Christina, Caroline & Michelle are very pleasant ,helpful & welcoming. Perfumes, earrings, hair shampoos & conditioner are also sold. Also available pedicures, waxing & massages. “I had a good experience at Allura when doing my pathway to aesthetics training. Everything ran smoothly & on time, I felt very welcome on arrival and was soon shown to my training room. Abbie was very detailed in all theory & made me feel safe when injecting which I thought I would struggle with. Danielle made treatments seem a dream the glow on our models skin was outstanding. All in all I’d come back again for further training xx”

“Been coming to retro hair quite regularly recently as I have a 22 inch weave and then had to have an operation so can’t wash it’s good as I’d like to, the apprentice who does my hair every time (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name) she has dark brown hair, she’s really good and always makes me feel welcome! “THIS is the pub to go to if ever you have the chance. And if you've been before, but not since late 2023 - ga again. New, young owners have revitalised the Tavern whilst keeping all the old, well lived traditional features. The food is fantastic, dogs are very welcome. There is even home-made doggy ice-cream, dog snacks and hand-made dog leads for sale. There's a small tuck shop and board games for kids. Lovely walks all around. WINNER OF PUB OF THE YEAR 2025.”

“Beautiful, traditional pub ran by a fantastic landlord and landlady. Bar staff are excellent and it's just a really friendly pub. They are following all the Covid rules, unlike some places and have a small beer garden for the good weather.”

“First time here, as a family we booked a table, and had table service off David who was really lovely and helpful. We didnt have to wait long for the food, even though the pub was busy.The food was amazing and very flavoursome. Not long after we finished our food the staff cleared our table and asked for any desserts, which arrived very quickly. Will definitely be coming back in the future! Lovely staff!”

“Went in at tea time on a Wednesday and had a delicious rag pudding. The pudding, chips, peas and gravy were all amazing, I would highly recommend. Staff were also lovely and helpful. Pub looks amazing too and was very busy for the day and time. Staff have done really well to get the pub to where it is. Get in there and get some food in you.”

“Amazing! The best thing we ever did was join here. The facilities and classes are brilliant. Changing rooms are new and clean. The staff are very friendly, approachable and helpful. Special mentions to Ellie who showed us around and signed us up, Connor who is always a friendly face and happy to help in any way he can and Paul in the clubhouse who all make us feel so welcome and at ease every time we come to the club. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are very professional in all they do and friendly and chatty at the same time. A lovely club with good energy from all the staff and a happy relaxed atmosphere.”
