“This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant. So far, it is the only place I have found outside of Italy to serve fresh, authentic Italian foods. My partner is Italian, and hence a harsh critic. Casa Italia has won his approval and we both come here regularly. It is clear that the people posting negative reviews about frozen food have never eaten here. There is an open kitchen where you can watch the chef cooking delicious food, all from fresh ingredients. Service is attentive, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food exceptional. I would recommend anything on the menu. But for me, two stand out dishes are the polpette Di carne (beef meatballs with a cheese centre) and the formaggi fusi (a bubbling dish of melted Italian cheeses)”

“My partner booked Ela for a surprise date night! It was ‘nice’ .. I asked for olives while ordering my drink and was told no? Thought this was odd! But Nevermind! Order was olives, Saganaki (just tasted like very burned cheese) a trio of dips with hummus, a cheese pastry thing (can’t remember the name) mixed grill, Kleftiko - Wasn’t the best? Watery and flavourless (I had had it elsewhere and thought the same so maybe it just isn’t for me?) not sure I would recommend or go back! But I do know other people who really like it!”

“The rice is fragrant, the chicken is tender, and the butter chicken is creamy! The veggies are super flavourful and I like the tomato base My only gripe is the samosa- a bit too meaty but not enough flavour, otherwise it's overall a nice experience”

“My son and my daughters birthday treat. We didn't book, thee restaurant was busy and we were asked to wait a few minutes whilst a table was being prepared. I ordered the pan fried Salmon, the better half ordered the chicken sizzler, the birthday boy ordered the bang bang and the birthday girl a Chicken burger (yes she's your typical 11 year old. The foodwas geat topped with excellent service from Asad. He treated the birthday twins to the best cheesecake I've ever tasted and a Brownie. Food 10/10 Service 10/10”

“Al tayyba had very good food, good portion of both dishes which were Qabily palau and kofta kebab on rice. The price was good as well compared to the quantity of food we were given. Ambiance of restaurant was also excellent.”

“We had a delicious lunch here. Their gyros are probably one of the best in town. The owner is friendly and happy to talk about what they serve. They use quality ingredients and you can easily tell their food tastes delicious and authentic. They have a fantastic meal deal where you can get a gyro, a drink and a cake for around a tenner. The place is nice, quiet and with some beautiful Greek decorations on the wall.”

“Lovely Pizza Express, our Waiter was wonderful as always and one of the reasons we are repeat customers. The warm atmosphere was very well appreciated considering the weather outside is awful!! “So I called here as I needed delivery and was so in the mood for a curry. Knutford doesn't really deliver and the one nice restaurant that does was so busy as closed due to refurbishment. So I thought if try here. I'm so glad I did, the guy who answered the phone was so helpful and helped me pick the best curry based upon the description I gave of what I wanted. I'm out of the catchment area so paid more for delivery and I would again because the food was so delicious and I haven't got 1 thing to complain about, and I complain about anything that's anything but perfect! “We are Americans visiting Manchester for the holidays. The Didsbury Pub was recommended to us for dinner. We had dinner at The Didsbury Pub on Christmas Eve, and it was fantastic! Steven, our server, looked after us; he did a fantastic job. The Didsbury Pub had a Festive Menu on Christmas Eve and our compliments to the Chef. The food was delicious. The hand carved roast turkey with Yorkshire pudding was awesome. So was the Marmalade Glazed Ham Hock. And the desserts. The apple & blackberry crumble was scrumptious; as was the melting chocolate fondant. The pub is beautiful. The atmosphere was great. One of the best dining experiences in all our travels. Thank you to Steven, the Chef, and all the great people at The Didsbury Pub. I highly recommend everyone visiting Manchester to stop in and enjoy The Didsbury Pub.”

“Visited today to try steak and eggs. The best steak I’ve had in a very long time. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Melt in your mouth steak and the chimchuri was spot on. Husband enjoyed the orange juice, recommended from Jordan, and said the halal breakfast hit the spot without feeling too heavy. Apart from the excellent food, Jordan delivered exceptional customer service. He talked with a smile and looked after us from beginning to end. It was refreshing to see such great service.”

“This is a lovely pub house with some outdoor tables. It’s so leisure to sit between the green building and a grassland. The fish and chip is perfect and the fried onion is crispy enough. I really enjoyed the chocolate sundae too.”

“If I were to describe Manjaros in a nutshell, I'd say it was Nandos with a twist. There are a few different options from the traditional grilled chicken which are worth trying. The prices are steep, but the portions are very large and you need to have a very large appetite to finish your plate completely! You also get enough seating for large groups as well as proper table service with waiters and everything - something which really sets the experience apart. Look out for the excellent discounts that may pop up from time to time, making this place incredibly good value. If you enjoy this sort of cuisine, I suggest you give it a shot. It's well worth it. Oh, and it can get quite busy so to avoid disappointment make sure you call up and reserve a table before visiting.”

“The food is always stunning. Order from here regularly. They are like 9 miles away from me and the latest they've ever been was like 10 mins after, I phoned the shop and he turned up like there and then haha. The delivery guy has been awesome both times, amazing food, and food is still warm and delicious especially within it being so far away. Couldn't recommend higher. ALSO I swear this place is like one of the only mexican deliveries in manchester. We are going to get to know each other very well.”
