“Wonderful Spanish restaurant in Heaton Moor. A great menu with most of your favourite tapas dishes. The food was really nice and hot when it was served. The staff were lovely. Would recommend.”

“The BEST venue! The heart of any establishment is it's staff. This is what makes The Spinning Top, not only special, but an incredible place to be. Mike, the landlord, is the kindest, and funniest guy you will ever meet. Our band (For The Hornets) travelled a round trip of around 9 hours to play here, and we were treated like royalty by all of the staff. It rubs off on all of the customers too, as complete outsiders we were made to feel like family. The Bar: Extremely well stocked, with a huge range of craft beers, wines, and mainsteam lagers. My draft Peroni was ice clod and in a Peroni glass - they take pride in what they do. The whole place was spotless, including the loo's. Playing as a band: As I mentioned we were treated like kings. We borrowed the house equipment (a god send for a travelling band) and it was all fantastic. Mike done the sound better than most professional sound engineers that we meet. Epilogue: The following day I had a panic attack that I'd left some vital grear at the venue, and woke Mike up at silly 'o' clock in blind panic. He was calm and extremely helpful. I'm so grateful for this. My was head slightly sore from over-indulgence.... but my abs sore from laughing all night. Absolutely incredible venue. Best in Stockport and Manchester. Would travel a long way out of my way to visit here again. 11/10.”

“They’ve started doing burger deliveries and the burgers are fantastic! Think 5 guys meets GBK. I got a double Eminem burger, it came slightly pink in the middle...just how I like it. I’ll be satisfying all my burger cravings from here for now on! Chips were also nice, draught beer vacation was lovely. I’ll give the halloumi fries a miss next time they weren’t great - my only complaint”

“I called in with my husband for a quick soft drink as he was meeting his Uncle. I then left them to a conversation of football etc. The pub is a beautiful building, original tiles both on the floor and walls. Bar staff really friendly. We stayed inside as it was too hot outside (yes, too hot) but there was a beer green with a tv. We would definitely visit again.”

“We used them for my Dads wake and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Staff were amazing and even wore purple as that was the funeral theme. Communication from booking right up until the day was superb. Thank you for all your support in helping us give our Dad the best send off.”

“Took friends here for Sunday lunch, we've never been before and we were very happy with the welcome we all received, even our 2 dogs were welcome. The Sunday lunch was, literally the best pub one we've ever had, plenty on our plates and tasted delicious. The service was also great, a very polite, smiling young lady served us. “A great pub with amazing staff, especially Millie! Prices are really really good. £19.05 for Dbl JD & Coke, Dbl Jamesons & coke and Dbl Armeretto & Coke. Very clean, welcoming and friendly pub, no issue was to small with happy faces all around and sport on the TV. Also a dartboard which is rare in a pub these days and great slot machines. Will certainly be back to try the food which smelt and looked amazing.”
