“A perfect little hide away, so peaceful. The room was lovely and the view of the sheep from your bed in the morning. Great breakfast selection. Lovely little touches from the host Sam, including home made welcome cookies. Will most definitely be back.”

“This might be a new hotel. It looks like it might be just wrapping up its construction. Everything seems very new and fresh on the inside. You might double check in advance if you have an electric car as I’m not sure the electric car chargers are completely set up yet. Room is really comfortable. That is fantastic. As you can see, it’s a very large Staff is really friendly, and the breakfast was really good. Internets included and was pretty fast. Nice place”

“As expected, good clean room, noise levels are quite low, as long as the person in a room above you isn't heavy footed, nice friendly staff, breakfast was okay, would have been better if hot!”

“What a great full English breakfast with tea and toast. My Partners bacon and egg roll was also very tasty with a nice cup of coffee. We will be back for more breakfasts and to try the extensive range of pastas.”

“I really like this place, the lady who runs it is super friendly and the food is great. Wonderful homemade soups and a ever-changing variety of delicious cakes. I don't eat dairy so it's great that the soups are usually dairy free and there are dairy free cake options too. Wonderful selection of teas to try also, although I keep having the same one as it's so good!”

“The hotel is close to the city centre and close to many amenities. The rooms are spacious and have everything you may need for a short or long stay. The service is outstanding, the staff is super nice and welcoming. The breakfast is complementary for sleeping guests, and it's really good both in quantity and quality. I stayed there two times and really enjoyed it, it will be my hotel of choice whenever I need to stay overnight in that area. Highly recommend! :)”

“We held my brother’s wedding celebration at The Woolpack Inn this afternoon and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. We wanted a relaxed, family-style buffet for a small wedding gathering, and it was absolutely perfect. The food was far better than we expected, plentiful, beautifully presented, and with a real touch of luxury. The service was outstanding; every member of staff was polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble, and every little detail was looked after. A small issue arose during the afternoon, and it was dealt with kindly and professionally, a real credit to the team. Special thanks to Dan, the manager, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking process and so helpful on the day itself. We would highly recommend The Woolpack Inn for any small celebration. They helped make our family day truly special, and we’ll definitely be back soon to dine in the restaurant.”

“Such a lovely stay in this hotel cannot fault it at all. Room was perfect we had booked a standard double and it seemed so much more than that, unsure if we were upgraded but seemed very spacious for a standard. Free standing bath was amazing, had double sinks and a spacious shower too. The spa was lovely it was peaceful and relaxing, staff were very welcoming and polite, had 2 coffees in there which were lovely. Made use of all spa facilities which were in good condition, not overcrowded at all which was nice. Provided robes, slippers and towels in the locker you are given. The hotel was clean and looked so lovely, we had breakfast in the morning which is great value for what you can get, I made good use of the hot drinks machine. Overall amazing hotel, friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“Always love coming to the Pancake House! They have a great selection, tons of food options and it's always a nice atmosphere inside. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, I really love that they have vegan pancakes/waffles along with many other vegan options that are super tasty.”

“Fritos is the sort of chicken place we needed - clean, funky and with good quality chicken. However : - mistakes/miscommunication definitely occur, so be very clear with what you're ordering. Also be prepared to have your patience tested a little. - when we went there was no water. They fixed this by giving us extra chicken. The food is great, establishment is lovely, therefore I'm not going to deduct any stars, but I'll bear the two points above in mind when I go next time.”

“Was able to use the toilets with little bother. Frequented by your delivery driver, I can't see whether drive-thru or within the store any quicker for service. A popular McDonald's I don't regularly attend but I can tell that high standards are often met. Thank you for having me.”
