“Staff helpful. Has cash machine at the side of building. Checkout is slow but that's because staff chat with customers. Was offered a bag and said no but was still given one and charged. Did see reduced items that should be refrigerated in a trolly by the tills and they was still not a bargain. Could do with a rethink about shifting reduced food items was a big on a concern seeing meat in a trolly reduced and not refrigerated. Might be a good idea to have that stuff in the fridge. The shop is not the cheapest but is handy. But I would recommend staff take a food hygiene course as was shocked at un refrigerated meat reduced. Could do with good deep clean and dead plants outside binned.”

“I was recommended this place by a client at work and I was so glad to be told about this absolutely amazing place. The service was stellar from start to finish. I don't think I have had so many people attend to just one table before. Anything we asked for was dealt with so promptly and politely I was so impressed. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the music playing whilst we ate was apt. Our food was flawless through three courses. As I chef I find it very hard to get food up to a certain standard but this was an exception. I can't recommend this place enough and will be returning asap. The arancini was so good, seasoned perfectly and looked beautiful. My beef ragu was stunning.. a depth of flavour that I thoroughly enjoyed. My partners lasagne was amazing and not a scrap was left by either of us. I ordered lemon tart which came with a shot of lemon cello and it was to die for and looked so pretty. My partner polished her brownie in record time. The bill was just under a hundred pounds which was good considering we had multiple drinks. Bravo for being so on point to all the staff and owner. We will be back asap..thanks so much we are truly happy customers.”

“Searched on maps for a pit stop on my long drive home. I'm not surprised this came up with great scores. Lovely little coffee shop, food selection isn't huge but very tasty. Both ladies were welcoming & polite & I was served promptly. I even ordered a to go iced coffee for the rest of my journey, as the one I'd had in there was so nice. Couldn't fault them”

“Great restaurant easy to park. The. Restaurant is quaint and of Italian influences. The service was quick and efficient with a white glove service. Food was great and there is a fantastic variety available we also tried the wine which was great and. Reasonably priced. We had a table. Of seven and had a lot of fun. When we got the. Bill it was. Very reasonable will visit again.”

Food is always great, as is the coffee. At the end of our lovely visit our little one was given the chance to open the advent calendar and got a fantastic present. “Moved to the area and heard nothing but great things about this place, visited twice now and you simply must try it. It’s hidden away but some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The customer service is exceptional, the manager is extremely friendly and chatty and provides such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we have chatted both times and he’s lovely. And the food.. 10/10. The nachos are incredible, mains are huge and absolutely delicious. Great variety and plenty of GF/Vegan options. Don’t miss this place, it’s the full package and such a reasonable price. Great Saturday evening atmosphere too. I will absolutely be going back again and again.”

“Visited for the first time this Sunday afternoon after having spied the Lilacs whilst out for a walk a couple of weeks previously. What a lovely place, a bit TARDIS like, it's bigger on the inside than it looks this is a really nice pub, with a big open airy restaurant and multiple outside spaces. The Sunday menu is good, not a wide selection, but everything on the menu appears to be well balanced and from our experience is done well. We had starters, carvery and dessert and all were lovely. The carvery was one of the best I've had, veg wasn't overcooked or dried out from being sat on the hot plate too long, the meat was juicy, tender and cooked nicely and the cauliflower cheese I could have eaten by the gallon. A delightful selection of desserts were on display in the cabinet, and the chocolate and cheesy mousse dessert I selected was beautiful, a rich deep flavour whilst still being light enough after a big meal. Topped it all off with a latte with Bailey's in and I was a happy man. The staff were all really friendly, and very attentive and helpful, service was quick and came with smiles and personality. We're already looking at when we can return to try the regular evening menu and another of the cakes from the cabinet.”

“Italian food is not on my top list but I should say their pasta dish Steak and Mushroom Penne blew me away. The best pasta I ever had in my life. Excellent taste. No wonder it’s one of their best sellers. I strongly recommend it to all pasta lovers.”
