“Myself, friends and family have actually been to this place multiple times but kept forgetting to review it. Cannot rate it higher, a must go to. We went on a Saturday evening. Massive choice in dishes well presented, freshly made and full of flavours, not at all oily like some places. New dishes on the menu which were very tasty. There are very reasonably priced choices, from inexpensive up to banquets. Gluten free and vegan options available. wheelchair access.”

“Dropped in mid-week, easy to get a table but they'd quite a number of people in. Still quiet enough to chat easily. Lovely menu, we'll need to get back to try more as the food was great. We ordered a sharing platter, Greek salad, spinach pie and meatballs - it all tasted as good as it looks. Finished off with the orange Pie and coffee. Orange Pie was a great holiday discovery, we've been trying in restaurants ever since... We think this has the No 1 spot now!”

“We went to the Rose and Crown at Hartwell this past Friday... we've been meaning to visit here for a while. So glad we did and sorry we have not been sooner! The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope.
