“My husband surprised me with a one on one experience with my favourite animal a sloth. She was absolutely beautiful and Barbara who was running the experience was so knowledgeable but more importantly she has such a passion and care for the animals making the experience even more enjoyable. “Hidden gem! Accidentally found this place while walking around and it's one of my favourite places to grab a beer in St Neots. Staff are lovely and very knowledgeable regarding the beers they serve. The beers are perfect so they obviously pay a lot of attention to keeping it all clean. There's a nice area to sit inside or outside. On hot days the outside seating gets the shade. I will be coming back frequently”

“Eamon was an absolute savour and helped made our wedding ceremony perfect. We arranged for him to serve hot drinks and snacks before our ceremony, of which he had to liaise with the venue quite extensively. Then very last minute we asked if he could do the champagne and drinks. On arriving eamon had pulled out all the stops! Serving all our guests and topping up, had a fantastic set up and was generally a nice guy. Even when we forgot to pay on the day he was totally chilled and just followed with an invoice. “I booked Clover shepherd's hut for two nights accommodation for work. It is a magical space. The Red Lion being a few metres away is convenient for the evening meal. Wayne sourced some ground coffee and a French press for me as I'd forgotten mine. There was a small fridge in the room. The shower was roomy and has a rainfall as well as a shower head you can hold. I found the (ample) towels too smooth for my taste. Maybe they use fabric conditioner on them. It's personal preference though because my partner hates scratchy towels. The listed cobbles, nearby thatched houses make me want to return for a weekend wander. The shop behind the Red Lion is a community venture so only open limited hours. Wonderful that people care enough to ensure it's manned though. Having been working in the area since July I can confirm taxi drivers love Rugby. Clean, peaceful and quiet is what they unanimously say.”

Food out of this world well compared to any other in irthlingborough Rushden or higham we have tried The crispy shredded beef is amazing every time it's the best Highly recommended if you want to be full and have flavour . The waiting time never had a issue either maybe when busy busy 30 minutes wait . None of this 1 hour wait . Just ordering now as we speak lots of love to the family run business cheers to many more years of great food ordered by many And if your worried where to park there is a car park at the back behind the public toilets near the church if you aren't a local person and want to try . For 3 of us we spend around 30 in total and get quite a bit remember card payers order has to be 20pounds of more anything under its cash only .”

“Amazing food! I ordered a mixed grill and chicken tikka with pilau rice. I asked what was in the mixed grill and was told they have sheesh. I informed the person on the phone I wasn’t a fan of sheesh so they offered and gave me extra chicken instead of the sheesh. How kind I really appreciate it. The best mixed grill I’ve had. Absolutely amazing and I’ll definitely be ordering from them again! They also delivered very quickly and food was a 10/10. Thank you and we’ll be back.”
