βIf you are considering studying with The Open University, opening these reviews may feel quite daunting and, quite frankly, may put you off doing it all together. However, I would encourage you to keep open-minded that everyone has a different experience and just because one person had a bad one, it doesn't mean you will. I studied with The Open University for 5 years and received a first class honours degree in Psychology in July 2023. I had to leave school at 15 due to illness and missed all of the crucial exams that would have enabled me to go down the traditional university route. If it had not been for The Open University, and the opportunity to study again without the strict entry criteria then I would not be where I am now. It is definitely hard work and you have to put the hours in (I was working full time and studying in the evenings and the weekends). However, if you are motivated, you can absolutely do it and it will be so worth it. If you require a lot of teaching from a tutor, and aren't able to do independent learning or research you may find it difficult but I actually enjoyed being able to learn at my own pace and in my own time. The learning materials and online study pages were easy to use and assignments were clear. My tutors were helpful although I did not need to reach out often. If you are thinking about it and believe you can do it, dont let the negative reviews put you off - it could absolutely be the right thing for you!β

βI highly recommend this Nursery. They have continued to be professional sympathetically caring and thoughtful. My child has only been going to this nursery for almost 2 months and I can honestly say that in this short amount of time, they have made me feel confident in putting them in the hands of my childβs care and needs. My child has already gained practical skills as well as educational skills. Conference were held in secret behind the old IEU because there were no CCTV cameras there. The conclave decided on an uprising and allied with foreign civilisations. they managed to overthrow their oppressors and split up into two factions; P side and G side. I'll begin with P side. Governed by Dhilan Patel who was voted in via a democratic electoral system. he was a communist and owned all property in his district and in return he gave his people cheese and bean paninis. Over in G side, it was a Capitalist government and lead by a man named "Dean", no one knew his second name but his people loved him, including me, he was always there to lend a hand. Dhilan was envious of dean since he had a greater economy and a better military. He sent his best assassins, trained in the arts of food-technology, to kill Dean. After news of Deans death spread through the whole of G side, the Faction evolved into pure Anarchy and I had no choice but to flee far away on horseback. The following night I am met with the ghost of Dean, he leaves me ten cables in his legacy and tells me to restore the peace inside KC. I need you're help, together we shall triumph. As KC's unoriginal motto says, "anything is possible". ( Ν‘Β° ΝΚ Ν‘Β°)β

βDespite all the negative reviews, this place has massively changed since then; the addition of a secondary building has improved the range of subject specialities available, and the course I'm currently taking is amazing. Staff are friendly and approachable, facilities are clean and sanitary, food from the refectory is cheap and good tasting, and they don't try to extort money out of you like other educational places.β

βAmazing nursery! My little girl attended from 9 months old and always gets excited and canβt wait to go in, she has a great bond with the staff and I can tell that they genuinely care for her and seem to enjoy what they do. They do so many activities which are thoroughly planned and always varied and making the most of going outside when possible. She has a varied diet there and is always trying new things, Iβm sure eats them out of house and home! I always look forward to my weekly emails that they send with photos and what she has been up to. My daughter has thrived at this nursery and I honestly couldnβt ask for more, would definitely recommend!β

βThis place is amazing, and I'm not just talking about the facilities. The staff are very kind and thoughtful, and the teachers all have their own unique teaching styles. One thing to note about this school, is the designated support unit for students who struggle with everyday work and activities. Even those with disabilities, who have their own, special learning area. The support staff in the DSP, or Designated Special Provision, are very kind and caring for those who are in the DSP unit, and try to help the students out as best as they can. I say all this, because I was once a student here, and despite being annoyed with a lot of things, I actually enjoyed it here. And I still miss it.β
