“Always a bloody lovely curry here. Top grub and banquet offer on sun-thurs for 13.95. Jo small portions cos it's an offer either! Lots of flavour and lamb is always soft and cooked to perfection! Staff are lovely and friendly. My fave Indian restaurant and takeaway.”

Popular indoor/outdoor space and enough parking. I always thought the Loop Road was a local myth but really is a road to where you just were with a great pub half-way round! “First visit with the new chef, the food was very good and my husband’s steak was cooked to perfection. Wine selection was good, I had a glass of the Argentinian Malbec which I really enjoyed so of course I had to have a top up. We received a warm friendly welcome from the owner and the bar staff who kindly found us a table as we hadn’t booked. I would recommend booking as the pub was busy which created a good atmosphere. Need to try their Sunday Roast soon.”

“Great pub we fell into. The garden is amazing and the pub has a lovely feel. We had a 'Small plate'. I had a chicken waffle which was lovely and my wife had a prawn and chorizo taco. “Such a lovely stay in this hotel cannot fault it at all. Room was perfect we had booked a standard double and it seemed so much more than that, unsure if we were upgraded but seemed very spacious for a standard. Free standing bath was amazing, had double sinks and a spacious shower too. The spa was lovely it was peaceful and relaxing, staff were very welcoming and polite, had 2 coffees in there which were lovely. Made use of all spa facilities which were in good condition, not overcrowded at all which was nice. Provided robes, slippers and towels in the locker you are given. The hotel was clean and looked so lovely, we had breakfast in the morning which is great value for what you can get, I made good use of the hot drinks machine. Overall amazing hotel, friendly staff, would definitely recommend. Thank you.”

“Driving past and saw there was a blues jam session. What a little gem. Great hawkstone lager (&the increasingly rare kronenbourg) and local beers. Beer garden in the sunshine, what is not to like? Can’t comment on the food but we will be back to try.”

“Ordered and went in on a Friday night, ordered to pick up it said 10 mins but ended being another 15 mins on top, understandable as it was really busy but everyone was getting bits done, when our food was ready we got it home and everything was fresh and they gave us a bottle of drink for free for waiting was refreshing as it showed great customer service. Would highly recommend to anyone”

“Ordered pizza collection online. On the arrival the guy apologised for making wrong pizza so waited another 15 minutes to get the right one done. Eventually got away with 2 pizzas for the price of 1! They gave me the wrong one as a sign of apology, so cannot fault them. That was a good piece of management and making client satisfied on the spot.”
