βafter living here for 2 years i can honestly say that we had a wonderful experience renting from richard. if we had any issues he was very quick to resolve them and provided ample time for letting us know when anything would be being done to the house. as students we were very cautious with things surrounding renting property and such but richard eased these worries and looked out for us while we were under his lease. the house its self is amazing, it felt more like a home than student accomodation which i think lead the group we were with becoming closer and gave us a more chilled out atmosphere. the property is good all year round however in the summer was where it really shined with ample space for our group to spend time together while also being close to large parks for activities. overall i think myself and the rest of our group had a great time living hear and i hope that i can find a place in the future that can feel just as homely. :)β
βLiving in this house have been a true pleasure for myself on both an academic and social level. The area of the house is fantastic, and the landlord truly goes the extra mile to ensure all tenants experience the full potential of the house, and the transition from university halls accommodation to the private accommodation is as easy as possible. Would recommend 10/10 to all students looking to move into private accommodation.β
βMy nan has been at the Hawthornes for 18 months and I can't thank them enough for their warm welcome and continued support. The staff are amazing here and genuinely care about the residents wellbeing. The accommodation and facilities are immaculate. Highly recommend.β
βA great central hotel. Perfect if visiting theatre or other Northampton attractions. Offsite parking is cheap and close. Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were v comfyβ
βStayed for one night as I was travelling for business. Really quite place, very clean. Staff was friendly. Free parking.β
βGreat location just off the main road, short run into town if needed! Very clean comfortable rooms, lovely staff and great restaurant opposite. Will be back soon and look forward to their refurbished rooms in time.β
βAs always Hilton was fab. What really stood out about this location was the staff, don't get me wrong they're always lovely. We had our 2 yr old with us, when checking in the ladies at reception moved our room to the ground floor as lifts were being serviced when we came. So thoughtful, saved us a lot of trouble. They offered lego, crayons to colour with, and wordsearch for little one. Breakfast the team were attentive, again they saw little one and asked if we would like children cutlery and brought it out. Another staff member came over and let us know they could do waffles or pancakes for little one. We went with pancakes and he loved it! Same staff member (I'm cross with myself that I didn't get her name) when we getting ready to leave asked 'will we be seeing you for breakfast tomorrow?' We were just there for the night, she asked if we had plans for the day, my husband was taking our little one to a kids play whilst I had to go to work. Which she gave some solid recommendations on, glad she did because the place she'd said had been amazing. We were at Hilton in Bath earlier this year, this extra care from the staff didn't happen there. Again please don't misunderstand they had been lovely. But this level of care is what made my husband and I say we won't be bothering with any other hotel when we visit Northampton now. I know...long winded. But this family of 3 was very grateful and I truly wanted to convery that. Thank you!β
βGreat place to stay, very clean and in a lovely setting. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.β
βIt was a pleasure from start to finish helping my daughter move to this private student accommodation. It was clean, decorated to a nice standard and the owner is very pleasant and always available if we need help with anytime at all. If your child is moving to private student accommodation I would thoroughly recommend!β
βA lovely Detached house that felt homely straight away. Lots of space and very clean and a great service provided with clean towels and sheets changed regularly. The house was cleaned efficiently. Situated in a good position and great that Freerangestays.com could accommodate our pets. We would definitely use them again.β
βExcellent base in Bedfordshire for walking the John Bunyan Way. Very comfortable and excellent locationβ
βThey are a reliable house letting agency especially for student accommodation. The process was smooth without hassle. I was impressed to say the least.β
βI arrived late at night at Milton Keynes Coach Station. Landlord gave me clear instructions on how to access property. Worth noting that there is no elevator in the property. That said the property has only three floors including ground floor. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast not provided but there is a common area downstairs with a kitchen.β
βI had a great stay at the Northampton Bedford Road Premier Inn on the A428. The receptionist team was incredibly welcoming and made check-in smooth and friendly. A special mention to Fridah, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, excellent service from start to finish. Thank you! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.β
βAmazing place for a staycation.β
βWe have just returned from a fabulous family weekend stay at Weasels Way. This was our third trip to Tove Valley Cottages and it as usual it did not disappoint. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and we had all the amenities we needed. The open plan layout worked really well for 3 generations of the family and the play area was a massive hit with the youngsters. The weather was good enough to sit in the outside area which had plenty of seating for us all. A highlight was a trip to Stowe which was beautiful and recommended by the owner. We had excellent contact from Annie before and after our trip. Thank you and we look forward to another visit one day.β

βAbsolutely lovely pub, a real gem! Perfect spot for a dog walk stop-off or a cosy date night. The food is exceptional- the Sunday roast was honestly the best Iβve ever had! The staff are so friendly and really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Canβt wait to go back!!β
βI do not have enough words to say how incredible Plum Park Manor is! From seeing the venue for the first time and being blown away, and through the planning stage, the staff could not be more accommodating and helpful. On the day, it was simply beautiful! They helped with setting up, kept me and the bridal party up to date, and went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly. We had a slight emergency on our day but the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had such a special day! A special mention to Claire, Rowen and Izzy for all their hard work :) The venue itself was beautiful; all very clean, and didn't require much more decoration as its so picturesque already! The Bridal room had so much space to get changed in for me, 6 bridesmaids and my mum: the 4 flower girls joined us to and everyone loved getting ready in there! The men got changed next door but this wasn't an issue as still felt separate. The bedrooms were all lovely and its great they are on site and a short walk to breakfast back in the house the next morning! The food all day was delicious! From the canapΓ©s, main meal and evening pizza's, it all went down so well and all the guests loved it! I would highly recommend choosing Plum Park Manor for your wedding day! It was simply incredible in all areas and we couldn't have asked for a better day! Thank you!!β
βWe had a fabulous stay. Really lovely rooms, great service, fabulous breakfast- and a wonderful country pub with amazing views right across the road. The perfect little get away. We stayed with our 16 month old and they were very accommodating. Very highly recommended.β
βI had a fabulous experience at the Simpson's Apartments. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are spotlessly clean. Better than actual hotels that I have been to. I felt at home and didn't want to leave. It's an experience I will talk about for a long time. Thank you Jim and Iryna.β
βHired out The Carlton House Club for an evening reception following a church wedding (next door), and the lead-up, and service on the day was amazing! We couldn't and can't fault Josh, Jo and the team. We opted for the carvery option, and had our wedding cake for our pudding option. Josh catered for allergies (soya / dairy free) and vegetarians equally. I'd highly recommend their services. https://www.thecarltonhouseclub.co.uk/wedding-hireβ
βGreat campsite. Owner makes sure it's not crammed like other sites and kids have plenty of space to play. Good flat meadow that you can pitch where you like. Owners also do breakfast rolls on Sunday mornings saving you the hassle of cooking n cleaning whilst packing up. Nice pub over the road and the site supplies fire pits and logs. Pretty much the perfect site and I wouldn't hesitate to go back!!β
βGreat stay at Cotelβs. The location was central but quiet in the evenings - heard little noise from outside and no noise from other apartments / lifts etc like you get in hotels. The service was really efficient regarding key collection and parking, instructions were simple to follow which after a 5-hour drive was very welcome. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the little touches such as the welcome pack and guide were very much appreciated. Would have no hesitations staying again if in the area. Many thanks!β
