The portions are generous, ensuring you leave feeling completely satisfied. Every dish that came to our table was a testament to high-quality ingredients and traditional culinary skill. Madeira's Restaurante is a true gem in Northampton. If you are looking for outstanding food, impeccable service, and a wonderfully atmospheric setting, you simply must pay them a visit. It’s a five-star experience that I cannot recommend highly enough. We are already planning our next visit!”

“First time I've ever had a lamb and haloumi (signature lamb burger) and my mind was blown. The mix of flavours and textures was just amazing! My only regret is only staying in town for a single night, so I could only sample one dish. The watermelon mojito and basque cheesecake were a real discovery as well! “The Spanish tapas here are absolutely delicious! The cheesecake was so good it completely destroyed my “keep fit” plan—I couldn’t stop myself from devouring it. Every single dish was full of flavor and brought me right back to my time in Spain. The only downside? The basement vibe isn’t the coziest and the chairs weren’t very comfortable. Also, the server accidentally tried to charge us twice—but honestly, the food was so good I almost didn’t care! Plus, the staff are actually Spanish, which made the experience feel even more authentic. Strongly recommend! Just… next time, pretty please let me sit at one of the nice ground floor tables. “We had lunch here today and it was a very good experience, my wife had a vegetarian curry, peanut based, very hot and tasty, perfect. I had lambs liver and bacon with onions and mashed potatoes, as I don't enjoy cabbage I asked for mushrooms instead which was duly served and delicious. “I had never been to Althorp Coaching Inn until I was recommended their brilliant open mic event, that happens once a month in the barn. George is a brilliant and welcoming host who delivers excellent sound quality, making performing an absolute joy. It is the best of any I have been too. The staff at the bar are brilliant and the decor and atmosphere is superb. Thanks to visiting the open mic last Tuesday, I became aware of Liane Carroll performing on the Thursday and bought a ticket. I was delighted to see more events planned. I wold not have found this delightful venue were it not for the highly recommended open mic. I am looking forward to eating there next time.”

“Superb Indian restaurant tucked away in the small village of Graffham. Unexpected find, but so pleased we gave it a go. Food was excellent quality, flavours and portion sizes. Great value for money. Very friendly staff and good service. Even better was finding a dog friendly Indian (we took two medium sized, very well behaved dogs). Would visit again if ever in this area again. Recommend to anyone staying at the Caravan and Camping Club site.”

I strongly recommend this restaurant for its great food and welcoming people. Truly a hidden gem. Along with the food, you must try the Turkish tea/coffee and the desserts, you will not regret it. “Stayed in the village, so this was the local pub. Was surprised that the food was Indian (with a few basic English dishes). We had poppadom for starters (basket of poppadoms with 2 dips and salad) and 1/2 tandoori chicken with chips and salad. Lovely food and very nice staff.”
