βLovely little cosy place, we went on a cold day so decided to avoid sitting in the garden. The food was superb, quice is a must if you enjoy that kind of thing and the cake was very fresh, fluffy and light. Good selection of pastries and good service, music is mellow and not too loud. Most of the noise is the talking of others or the coffee machines.β
βFood, service, and atmosphere were all just about as good as it can be at any Indian restaurant. I arrived with friends at 17:30 on a Friday, so quite early. But, already, the restaurant was filling up, suggesting it's very popular - rightly so, in my opinion.β
βJust amazing, we ventured through the jeweler's to the wine garden with our three dogs and we were all blown away. Amazing food, service and venue. We had a selection of the breakfast dishes which were all delicious. We will very much be returning for more. I would have added a photo of the food but it was all devoured too quickly.β
βExcellent shop, excellent staff too, really helpful and friendly. We Love visiting and having a look at the unusual items they have. Dog friendly always a hit for me.β
βAbsolutely top notch cafe/bar. If you ever visit Lee-on-the-Solent you must visit here. It gets a little busy so best to book a table. Brunch is a real treat. Dog friendly. Nice friendly staff with great customer service.β
βMyself and my brother went here yesterday for a coffee and cake. So glad we did, lovely coffee and even better cake all at a fair price. I will be going here again soon.β
βWe had three large party platters delivered to our house for a party we were hosting. Neil in the office, went above and beyond to organise and deliver to our home which was outside of their normal delivery radius. The party platters were absolutely amazing! They were delivered in bamboo plates that I was able to transfer directly to my table and the presentation was beautiful. The sushi itself was amazing, my guests absolutely loved it. 10 out of 10 on every front from service to delivery to food, cannot recommend them enough!β
βWe spent Sunday afternoon at Artyβs, and it was one of those meals that fills more than just your stomach β it fills your soul a little too. The Sunday roast was beautifully done β tender layers of ham, rich, silky gravy, vibrant vegetables, and that golden Yorkshire pudding balancing perfectly on top. Every bite tasted like care had gone into it. For dessert, we couldnβt resist going classic β I had the apple crumble with custard, and it was exactly how it should be: warm, nostalgic, and comforting. Across the table, Alasdair had the chocolate brownie with ice cream, rich and indulgent β the perfect finish. What made the afternoon truly special was Julie, the owner. She came over to our table with the kindest smile to congratulate us on our upcoming opening of Dollyβs Vintage Tea Rooms. That small gesture meant so much β a reminder that in this busy world, thereβs still such power in simple human kindness. Itβs moments like that which make a place memorable β not just the food, but the warmth, the connection, the shared joy in celebrating lifeβs new chapters. Artyβs isnβt just a restaurant; itβs a reminder of why we love what we do β creating spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. β€οΈ A truly lovely Sunday, and one weβll remember. ββ¨β
βIt was our first time visiting Thyme & Chillis and it definitely wonβt be our last. Both my parents and I all agreed that it was the best Indian food weβd had in the UK. It was fresh, so flavourful and not greasy at all. Really high quality. We recently went to the Michellin starred Jamavar in Mayfair and our food at Thyme & Chillis was so much better.β
βNice cafe with quite a bit of space, so you arenβt sitting right next to other customers. Prices are really good for the portion sizes. Waiting time for food and drinks was quite quick.β
βVery nice Sunday roast with grass-fed beef. Better make reservation before visit.β
βGreat rocky road and ice cream!β
βFirst time here and pleasently surprised. Really good food and very filling. We had the chicken sandwiches and the crab quiche. We didn't have to wait at all, and the staff were very polite and attentive. There are three seating areas and two inside and one outside. The one at the far back has a heater and is very nice and warm. The chairs have cushions on them n blankets, so if you're a bit chilling, you can get warm and feel cosy. These are nice touches, and I feel this does make it nicer than other places. They are not only making it look nicer but also thinking about customers who may feel the cold quicker than others like myself. We will definitely be going again.β
βLovely lunch here today, venue very clean, customer service was excellent and the mixed grill was very enjoyable. Pricing was very good to. Possibly one of the best cafΓ© I've been to in the Portsmouth area.β
βRecently moved to the area, and was worried about trying to find a new place to get our Indian cuisine. I need not to have worried after ordering with Spice Kitchen. The gentleman taking my order explained the spice levels for my partner with one of their dishes and also made an alteration to one of their dishes for myself. When the polite gentleman arrived delivering our food on time it was hot and fresh. The food was all excellent across the board, we are very pleased with our meals and will be ordering with them again.β

βThe best place to eat in Havant, although the management recently changed the staff is still very friendly and they provide great service. I always feel there great and welcomed. The food is a masterpiece, so tasty and reasonably priced. Every time we go there we feel looked after. They don't make a fuss about food/drink modification requests and try to accomodate. Will definitely go back.β
βWe had our Xmas party here, the food was really lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend itβ
βTook my children for food and it was really good! The staff were incredible, especially Toni-Lee, who made my kids laugh and made us feel so welcome. She really made the whole experience great. Weβll definitely be back!β
βIt is a lovely place to eat. It feels authentic, and the staff is very friendly and kind. The food was delicious and well made. The portions were just right for an adult, and drinks were okay. The place is a little small, and felt a little packed when it got busier. For the two sharing starters, four mains, and a few drinks, we've paid a little over Β£100 - which worked out roughly Β£25/pp - so prices are fair too, in my opinion.β
βExcellent food served by people who take pride in their business. We've been coming here for years as 'take away' c us to but will be iating in more I think. Its cosy and welcoming and the food options, quality and service is very good. Highly recommended for top quality Indian food.β
βFabulously delicious food and excellent and friendly service. I can't fault this food. The food was hot from start to finish. The bread, the poppadoms all hot and delicious. One od the most delicious Indian food I've had. I definitely recommend.β
βVery nice place to eat. We have been there for breakfast several times and it has been amazing every single time. They have small pain aux chocolate, croissant, and several cereal choices for continental. They also have buffet for full English. Last time we went for lunch and the standards were amazing again. The server was super fast and friendly. The food was great and the deserts from another world. Costa coffee as well if you fancy. Overall, great place to go if you are in the area.β
βAbsolutely fantastic! I recently had the pleasure of trying both the Chicken Doner Kebab and the Chicken Burger, and wow, they were truly delicious! The taste was absolutely awesome, and the ambiance of the place really added to the experience. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. But let me tell you, the Chicken Doner Kebab is something special. It's my absolute favourite! That crispy texture as you bite into it is just unbelievably yummy. I highly recommend trying it!β
βWe went as a family group of 6 adults and 2 older children. Mixed dietary needs well catered for. Food was plentiful ( not always at other tobys) Really good choice of food. Adults loved the mini brownie and drink desert. It's a fabulous idea if you just want to finish with with a small sweet something and a drink. A great idea! Some of the adults have been here before and we love this particular toby, the other adults and chdren were impressed with the food. A good way of getting the children away from macDonald's to try something new. Very clean, very attentive and polite staff.β
βLove visiting this shop when I visit East Wittering. Itβs such fun , full of lovely original brands and staff that really care . The downside is .. I always spend too much money . The upside is I come away smiling and happy with my purchases :)β
βFrankieβs Thursday special lasagnes are the best weβve ever tasted! Such good quality, delicious Italian food.β
