“Popped in for an early dinner recently and had a really warm greeting. We didn’t have a booking but they managed to accommodate us and our 10 month old (high chair was available). Good menu selection and food was fresh and of great quality. Staff were very friendly and gave the right amount of attention. We’d definitely come back soon.”

“Since Jamie, Steve & Tracy have taken over this pub has gone from great to amazing! Their bingo nights are so much fun, their quiz nights are great (bar 1 team) and the food....the food is brilliant!! Such a lovely safe environment to be in. Good drinks selection too. “One Nando's is just like another Nando's. A pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff and the food whichever Nando's I've been to has never disappointed. You can't go wrong with chicken can you. I went to the Whiteley restaurant thinking because it was out of the way from Portsmouth or Fareham that it might not be too busy. How wrong was I? Despite being very busy we were able to get a table straight away and between ordering and the food coming to our table didn't take very long at all. I would come here again as I've always enjoyed myself here.”

I should have written a review before but the benefit now is that I can say that having had a curry from Baburchi most weekends for the last 3 years (we know what we like) it is consistently good, we have never had a bad one!”

“Cafe Mendos has become my staple Saturday breakfast when I'm in the area. You will be given a warm welcome by the team and they serve your standard range of cafe food. I go for a mega 3 breakfast (pictured), which goes down a treat. Hash browns are crispy, choice of drinks and toast/fried bread. Good value for the size of portions given. Food is cooked to order and service is friendly. When I take a little one with me, they always make sure to address them and make them feel welcome too. High chairs available. It's located behind the hand car wash, near to B and M. If you like a full English, I would recommend!”

“Friendly staff & clean hotel. Breakfast is served in a small restaurant by reception. Good choice of hot & cold breakfast items. Free parking next to the hotel & pub next door serving good food at reasonable prices. There are a few shops a 5 minute walk away, M&S food Hall, Jollies pet store, B&M & a McDonald's. Also an ice rink & leisure centre next to the hotel. A pleasant stay & lovely welcome from the reception & on arrival at breakfast.”

“Well, what can I say, I love a 5 guys burger, the freshness and taste of something that's not frozen then cooked, yeah it is pricey for a burger but it really is that good, love the chips too, rustic chips, yeahhhh, Milkshakes are very good too, all in all, pricey but worth it, Mcds you don't have a look in with these except on price”

“Visited today as a half term treat. Seated sttaight away which was nice. Laura was our waitress and she was lovely. Very accommodatating and made it so much easier dining as 1 adult and 2 children. Darrnlen was our chef. The food was lovely, didnt take too long to arrive. Salad bar was nice and fresh. All in all a lovely visit.”

“The food was amazing. Sourdough pizza and loaded potatoes were perfect. Desert did not disappoint as well. Service was great too and the atmosfer was very relaxing. We had fun playing the Trivia game found on the table. We’ll definitely come back when visiting the area.”

“On the times we have visited the restaurant has not been busy and the service has therefore been individual and very pleasant. There has never been an issue with the quality or flavour of our menu choice. Plenty of free parking close by. There is a minimalist quality to the decor but that does not deter us from the return visits”

“My go-to Chinese takeaway for over a decade now, and it has never disappointed. I highly recommend their chow main, or their beef curry, as both are top tier. The service is good, and orders are always done on time - so when calling to order,8 if they say 25 minutes, it will be 25 minutes.”

“I just had the most delightful meal! The food was top-notch – everything from the Nasi Goreng to the chocolate bento box was bursting with flavour and excellent value. The service was spot-on too; the staff greeted us warmly and checked in throughout our meal. It’s a shame the Masaman curry wasn't on the menu this time, but I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this spot if you’re after a great dining experience!”

“Myself and my boyfriend had a lovely meal here tonight. We opted for steaks with some sides, everything was cooked perfectly, especially the steaks. Service was very friendly and the food arrived at a reasonable time considering how busy it was and how well things were cooked. This was definitely one of the best steaks I've ever had, I haven't visited a proper steakhouse before and I'm starting to see why people rate them so highly. We will definitely be coming back.”

“Didn't visit Stubbington, as we had excellent food/service from the mobile catering van last night at Solent Breezes Caravan Park. Had cod and chips, which was served by a friendly team, piping hot, nice and crisp, freshly cooked, and not at all greasy. Can highly recommend, and would definitely drive over to Stubbington to relive the experience in future!”

“A good find for a Greene King pub in Stubbington. Friendly punters, good staff, fast service, plenty of seating, including a beer garden and additional outdoor seating out the front. A good range of Alcoholic beverages as well as non alcoholic beers. A Decently sized car park as well. This pub has a weekly calender of what's on with a mixture of food/drinks deals depending on the day of the week.”

“Very nice modern style pub with friendly staff. When we arrived we were told that the chef was on her break and there would be a 20 minute delay, by a very apologetic bartender. Once food was served which was served very promptly all was most enjoyable and a pleasant relaxing atmosphere Thanks to your staff that was very helpful and apologetic ☺️”

“Beautiful pub! Lovely garden with children’s play area. Easy to get to off of the ferry, with lovely staff and atmosphere. Dog friendly, free parking, resident cats. Not to mention the amazing food. Exactly what we were looking for!”

“Wendy (the owner), was kind enough to allow us to celebrate my mother's life on 22nd July 2025 in the Lounge Bar. They went above and beyond to ensure the afternoon and evening ran smoothly without a hitch. We were well catered for and food was lovely. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Queens Head in Titchfield made it a memorable occasion and gave my mum a good sending off. Thank you to Wendy and her team for all their efforts and kindness at a delicate time.”

“A takeaway meal for a Saturday evening, and WOW!! Fabulous quality, hot, ready on time, and so so flavoursome. Just like every previous meal we've had from them. I can't score 'atmosphere' as only had takeaway, but it all looked clean, crisp and tidy. Reserved markers on several tables which indicates a popular place to eat in. Definitely my favourite in the area.”

“We have on occasion popped to the Fisherman’s rest for a drink: This evening we happened to come home to a power cut so called ahead to see if there were tables available. When we arrived, we were seated straight away. When we ordered we were informed there was no bacon. We asked if we could have pulled pork with the burger as a swap which was accommodated and my husband said it was delicious. I had the sirloin steak which was beautifully cooked. Some of the best onion rings I have had in a long time. Other members of our party had scampi which looked golden. Those who had dessert were pleased that they opted for the mini dessert and a drink option as this was just enough. Lovely, friendly service. We will definitely pop by again - even for a drink.”
