“We went for a panto and this year was Aladdin. It was very very good my 11 year was in tears of laughter and didn't want to miss a single bit of it. It was brilliant.”
“Very nice historic theatre. Bar is really good with a great mix of fairly priced drinks. Went to see the panto, Rapunzel, and really enjoyed it! Great fun for all the family. All the main cast are amazing, but I have to shout out Rubella and Jojo, who never put a foot wrong and were so good with the crowd! Dancers and secondary cast also knocked it out of the park! The only thing to bear in mind is the stage is up a fairly large flight of stairs, but if that is no worry, I definitely recommend the venue and the show.”
“My daughter has really flourished since attending 'Theatretrain'. She has made numerous friends, gained in both knowledge & confidence to perform. She has been encouraged to push herself out of her comfort zone in a positive way without feeling out of her depth. Her teachers are knowledgeable, encouraging, supportive & fun. We believe "Theatretrain' is good in so many ways, it is inclusive, nurtures friendships, builds self esteem & very importantly teaches life skills.”
“A great family get together and a lot of chance to discuss murder theories! Lovely night out and as a participating audience we were made to feel very welcome throughout. Thoroughly recommended night, immersing yourself in 19th century East End culture!”
“We saw the production of Matilda as members of the public with no connection to the school and were bowled over by the talent and quality of the performance but also by how much the children were genuinely enjoying themselves and how Sam is clearly instilling pride in who they are and what they can do as part of his teaching. It was really clear that all children are celebrated and given an opportunity to take part whoever they are. Sam is clearly a talented performer but took nothing away from the children by being part of the show and the limelight was still firmly shining on them - I’m not sure all teachers would have done the same! His humility and care for the children was clear to see. The whole production was fantastic!”
“Absolutely amazing theatre group, my daughter loves it and her confidence has grown so much since joining. She has also performed in 2 shows now, and such a great experiance that is for everyone. I also love the extra activities they organise - day out trips, sleep overs, parties. Everyone is just amazing, highly recommend ❤️”
“Our daughter started at TT when she was 3. She hasn’t looked back. She’s gained hugely in her confidence and self esteem. She won’t miss a session if she can help it. And to prove the efforts and enthusiasm of her teachers, she’s just got THE BEST drama and music report to end her first year of high school! Thank you IOW TT! If you are after a group where your child will feel safe, gain in confidence, learn dance, drama and singing skills, perform on stage, learn stage craft and make friends for life, check out TT IOW! It’s so much more than just a drama club that put on the odd show, it’s a performing arts school that’s creates confidence, develops speaking skills, challenges and encourages and is one huge family of awesome people!”
“My daughter has been coming to Dramatis for about a year now and absolutely loves it. She has made friends and learnt lots of skills. She absolutely adores Suzy who runs the classes as she seems to work with their individual strengths and develops their weaknesses.”
“Great performing arts company that works together and strives for an excellent performance on every show.”
“Great small theatre, full of atmosphere. Intimate, good view of the stage Comfortable seating. Small bar for pre-show & interval drinks. No car park. Parking is on local roads (can be very crowded).”
“Fabulous community cinema shows great films including block busters, independents and some foreign language. Wide screen, laser projector and Dolby surround sound are really professional. Great choices on bar, home made cakes and ice creams all at low prices.”
“Aled is amazing what a showman. Fantastic”
“Excellent hall with loads of space; bright, clean, well equipped with a professional kitchen with all the crockery and glasses you need. Plenty of parking. Efficient, helpful booking system. Highly recommended!”
“Amazing shows! Highly recommend”
“We went to an event at this venue over the weekend. Parking was available and reasonably priced. Toilet facilities were clean.”
“Helen came as Evie from Descendants to do the entertainment for my daughters birthday. Not many people offer descendants characters so we were really lucky to find her and the reviews were really good too so it was an easy decision to book her. On the day Helen was totally fantastic. She was incredible with the kids and so believable as the character, her costume was really good quality and she looked great. She did some great games and some amazing dancing and the kids followed the routines like they'd been learning it for weeks. My daughter was absolutely thrilled with her party. Helen also set everything up and took it down herself in lightning speed and was just generally a lovely person!”
“My daughter has flourished since being at Arabesque and looks forward to every class!! She has progressed so much in dance and performing in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. The teachers are AMAZING!!”
“When I first joined stagecoach Chichester around 3 years ago I was very shy and had no character but now I have no problem singing, speaking and performing in front of huge crowds of people and I can’t express how much this has helped me in school and other social situations. I love going to stagecoach Chichester and my only regret is not joining sooner.”
“Two of my children are involved in the dance classes that Abstract have to offer on Hayling Island. Both Teachers have been Amazing!! with the children who attend. They offer exams for children to excel but these are not compulsory from what i have seen. See their website for a full list of what they have to offer. The prices are £3 per half hour for most of the dance clubs.”
“Commodore is such a great little vintage cinema here in Ryde. I love the 3 retro style screen theatres, the lobby area, etc. Toilets could've been a bit more maintained I must say. Anyways apart from that, I very previously watched Paddington in Peru here in Screen 2, and the price was so so reasonable! £8 for me and my mum watching together, with an extra £5 for the treats we bought upon buying tickets. Comparing this to Cineworld's prices, this is by far, SO MUCH CHEAPER than Cineworld; they cost roughly £25-40! Absurd for them. If you're looking for a nice place to watch a sequel to your favourite film, or anything else, Commodore is your place to be. It's just perfect. 5/5 rating for me!”
“Clean and tidy seating area. Donut and coffee was lovely. Service was very friendly and efficient.”
“Fabulous place to watch films... friendly comfortable.....we love it.♥️”
“Visited the winter ice rink at the Regis centre. Just fantastic. The session was busy, but not crowded. The staff super friendly and attentive to people's needs. Great atmosphere. Going again next year!”
“Ideal for parking if you are disabled and it also has lovely views”
“I watched Wicked in ODEON yesterday. I had a great experience of sound, visuals, and comfortment. I was surrounded by these amazing songs. The screen was big, and the seats were comfortable. I really enjoyed my experience and I will visit this cinema next time!”
“First visit with my Wife for a long time, to see 50th anniversary presentation of Jaws.First saw this film when I was 14. The staff member at the food service was helpful to an old duffer (me) who was unsure of the menu. I really enjoyed the experience, I'd like to see Star Wars on the big screen again. A simple pleasure. M.A.R.”
“Went while we was on hoilday to watch Sonic 3. Cinema was tidy and clean as was the toilets. Lots of booster seats avaliable for younger children. Lots of staff around to help if needed”
“Pretty Quiet place, welcoming staff. Manager was able to move our seats at no extra cost. Not too pricey either. Had such a great experience.”
“This is the best hidden gem in the county; like turning the clock back; I was chuffed to pieces.”
“My daughter has been going to Early Stages since she was 4 and loves it. She's made lots of friends and grown so much in confidence. The teachers are fantastic and create an enjoyable, supportive environment. She has also attended many of the holiday workshops, which are great fun! I would highly recommend it to any parent.”
