“Our son attends Finkley and he loves it. Finkley gives our son access to great resources like the farm and soft play, and the staff are always putting on great activities. Beyond the activities is the kindness of the staff, especially his key worker Jodi, who our son adores. Highly recommended.”
“Our son has been going to Teepee for 5 months now and his development since he started is amazing. The staff are so caring and personable and it is clear that the children’s development, well-being and happiness is so important to them. We have no concerns whatsoever about leaving him. He absolutely loves being there and he always has the biggest smile when we pick him up...the array of facilities that the nursery has for the children to use and benefit from is amazing. He gets to eat a variety of lovely home cooked food and whilst he’s enjoying all of that, we are sent updates and pictures through an app which is lovely and much appreciated! The staff have always been willing and able to speak to us about any questions or concerns we may have and that has been the case since day one. Choosing Teepee was the best decision we could have made!”
“My little boy started in September. This is his first childcare setting and we were both apprehensive about him settling in. We have had some teary drop offs but the staff have handled it extremely sensitively and professionally. They have also been really professional and happy to take our lead to fit in with what would be best to help. They always message straight away to reassure me that he is happy. He now loves his mornings with the staff and his friends at Little Oaks, the Montessori approach is wonderful and really child focussed. They also spend lots of time outdoors with the option for a forest school afternoon too.”
“Excellent environment for sports, functions, seminars. Always clean and plenty of parking. They should look to expand as the community is always using it”
“Highly recommended preschool! My second child Alexander loves his school from day 1, his so happy to go there every day and the staff is so caring and so well prepared. He never went to school before and he's already settled. It was so nice to meet all the parents at the Morning breakfast and see our child in action in a school activity. Thank you for organising such a lovely morning.”
“A very good facility. Great space, and well looked after. Perfect for children's parties”
“My daughter has a rare genetic condition so I was really conflicted about sending her to nursery. From the first visit every member of staff I have interacted with has been lovely and they have gone above and beyond to not just accommodate her but to make her feel included and cared for. She is making great progress and really exploring her independence. I cannot thank everyone enough for everything they are doing to support us on this journey. She loves going to nursery! I highly recommend cornerstones, it the best decision we have made for her!”
“Excellent jazz music performances here. Highly recommended”
“Very nice scout club and beautiful location on the corner of Kensington park”
“I'm saddened to see some of the reviews of this place. Other agencies use the space there, there is a lot of support offered, with regards to employment, creating social networks in a friendly and safe environment. Support with domestic issues, and parenting worries. It is a safe place to talk, with locked doors and a buzzer system. Staff introduce themselves and are happy to help. Fantastic place to bring little ones and get to know a couple of the friendly locals.”
“Went to watch Panto. It was a lovely clean venue, friendly staff. Snacks a bit pricey. Overall a good experience.”
“Absolutely Incredible Kids' Soft Play & Play Area in High Wycombe! This is by far one of the best and most well-thought-out soft play and play areas I’ve ever visited! The space is huge, ensuring that kids stay engaged and entertained for the full 1.5-hour session. There are countless toys and themed play zones, making every visit an adventure. What makes this place truly unique is the variety of immersive play areas. There are huge stables with horses to ride, a police station, a shop, a restaurant, a vet, and even a caravan! Kids can also enjoy a picnic bench area, a sensory room, and a street with scooters and bikes, complete with traffic lights to help them learn about road safety. Everything is beautifully designed with trees, fruits, and animals around, creating a magical, interactive environment. One of the highlights is the electric scooters, which are charged per session—my child absolutely loved them! For younger children, there’s a separate baby area with baby walkers, which is perfect if you have two kids. You can easily move around with your older child while keeping your little one entertained and safe. The café area is another fantastic feature, offering great coffee, sweets, and a variety of breakfast and lunch options for both parents and kids. It’s the perfect place to relax while the little ones play. What truly sets this place apart is the thoughtful design and spaciousness. Unlike many overcrowded play areas, this one has limited bookings, ensuring that every child has enough room to play freely. I highly recommend this place to any parent looking for an incredible play experience. It’s a must-visit and, without a doubt, one of the best children’s entertainment venues I’ve ever found!”
“Good value hall for small gatherings in lovely village.”
“Great little playground with a bonus of Tutu's cafe/restaurant right next to it.”
“My parents live nearby and I often pop in with them. Very impressed with the amount of events that are available to join in with i.e. line dancing, yoga etc. There's also a cafe and coffee mornings. I've also used the charity shop which is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 4pm. There is also a day nursery attached. It's a well attended community centre, very clean and tidy with very friendly volunteers who are always willing to help or just have a chat.”
“Mostly a selection of outdoor excersise equipment and a few playground activities for children. But I love relaxing on an empty spot of grass and brining a picnic blanket to watch the sunset.”
“Got stalked lol, Splash pads fun innit, swings r decent m8. Water is alright but in a can. Played tennis, challengers era.”
“Lovely place, great day out.The children loved it.”
“My daughter has only been attending for 3 months but thankfully she settled in quickly thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. It's clear she loves her days at nursery and it's great to receive regular updates throughout the day. The staff are very attentive and communication is great on drop off and pick up.”
“Amazing hall, super venue for any party. Super clean, lots of parking and really big kitchen. Would book this hall for any occasion”
“Great meeting place in centre of village”
“Great school! Wonderful teachers, very supportive and nurturing.”
“Under Kelly's leadership, the nursery became a fantastic environment for my eldest child. She's loved every minute and still talks about all her experiences. The staff, especially Hannah, has made a lasting impression on her. I've even had to cook like David or the food will not be eaten at home! With its Good Ofsted rating recently, I am sure the nursery will continue to provide such a wonderful experience for other children. Thank you for everything you have done for our eldest. We look forward to seeing our little girl thrive with you in September 2025 when she joins the nursery family! Unfortunately since Kelly has left the nursery it seems to have gone down hill!!! Be wary!”
“An affordable place in terms of their prices, but quality service and friendly staff which is ready to help. Children have fun in the soft areas inside and outside. The lake is relaxing, animals giving a great ambiance. Stamps for animals seen is fun.”
“My boys had a wonderful time at rush. Really enjoyed their 2 hour session around the various activities in the area. It wasn't too busy which was pleasant experience. The cafe area is situated in a great spot overlooking the arena from the top, so you could keep an eye on the kids, yet away from the noise. Could improve some of the seating area, however didn't really impact my experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Iqra, she jells really well with the children and adults alike, she is an asset to Rush. Overall, a good experience, so Well done to the Rush Team for offering a fab time for my family. Keep it up.”
“Stopped by for a medical thing. Was seen quickly and ambple parking”
“This is an amazing nursery. My son has been going since January and he absolutely loves it. The staff are all so friendly and caring, and they really pay attention to the individual needs of the child. No ask is ever too much for them. The outdoor space is great and they spend alot of time outside which is something I love about the nursery. They also do lots of different activities such as painting and creative play. They dealt with the recent shutdown exceptionally well, and I have complete confidence in all the measures they have put in place since reopening, always prioritising both the needs of the children and the necessary safety measures.”
“Great venue. Very clean. I attended a birthday party where Pop up play village was the entertainment. They were great too. Recommend them for a children's party, from 0 -8 year olds.”
“Just a short stroll from Reading Train Station, this comfortable, simple but well equipped community space, is home for the joyful ‘Berkshire Drumming for Wellness’ group on a Wednesday lunchtime.”
“This is a nice community centre I don't know too much about it but I went dancing there with the Denton Dancing group and the people that came to watch us enjoyed our visit and the people that run it did us tea and we had home made cake.”
