“Just popped in for a pint waiting for a train to reading. Lovely service with a wide choice of beers. The locals sat at the bar were super friendly and welcoming. Would of happily stayed if my train had been delayed again. Great proper pub!”

“What a pub… Whenever we go in, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Since the refurb it’s so welcoming and inviting with a great selection of beers on tap (that always helps) The food is great fresh pub food, roasts are cracking and priced at just £15, can’t complain! Dessi and the whole Wheatsheaf Team are a credit to the local community. We’re so lucky to have such a great pub at the end of our roads!”

“Great place to congregate with pals, fairly priced drinks, great atmosphere and the DJ's are great! Security are respectful and good at their jobs, when trouble is caused they deal with it effectively rather than beating you and leaving you outside the club on the curb like some local clubs. Great place, definitely a place to go for a good night!”
