“Fantastic local family pub. Service and food is always great. However the real stand out feature of the place is the atmosphere generated by the managers Lee and Joanne. They have a super team of staff who are always bright, cheerful and helpful. We have used the pub for a formal family function and just to pop in for a drink and have never been disappointed. My dad is currently suffering with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and is wheelchair bound. Lee and Joanne always make us feel welcome and make a real fuss of my dad. Other than his bungalow the Hay Nook is his favourite place to be.”

The coffee is first rate, my toasted tea cake was excellent and they had some lovely gluten free fruit loaf. We had thw grill boxes and a pudding each for a very reasonable price. Think we've found a new favourite place. Delivery was fast and the food tasty. Definitely recommend.”
