“Oh my God, today we visited a lovely new café that has opened in Milnrow village After seeing all the post on Facebook It did not disappoint I ordered one of the specials, which was a roast beef sop The beef was so tender I didn’t care that I had to lift lick it off my fingers if no one was looking I would’ve licked the plate. “Fantastic local family pub. Service and food is always great. However the real stand out feature of the place is the atmosphere generated by the managers Lee and Joanne. They have a super team of staff who are always bright, cheerful and helpful. We have used the pub for a formal family function and just to pop in for a drink and have never been disappointed. My dad is currently suffering with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and is wheelchair bound. Lee and Joanne always make us feel welcome and make a real fuss of my dad. Other than his bungalow the Hay Nook is his favourite place to be.”
