“What delightful place! Had a decadent hot chocolate made with actual chocolate flakes in hot milk, mini marshmallows and cream. The baked potato was divine, as was my fiancées chicken and brie panini !”

“Delicious! This place feels underrated, it’s really strong especially compared to relatively local competition and delivers some great, elegant, well presented tasty dishes. Think fine dining for some, but without unnecessary faff and with more accessible dishes on the menu. The service is friendly and classy - we’d visit more if we were closer.”

“Been here many times over the years for lunch and dinner. Had dinner here recently on the special £21.99 menu, had chicken chat to start, lamb tikka for main with rice and upgrade to keegan nan instead of plain. Absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. Didn't have desert or coffee. They did bring us a shot of baileys though. Staff and service were great as always. Highly recommended”

“I have ordered from this Chinese so many times and not only is the food really nice but tonight i saw that started using environmentally conscious packaging where possible. I work for a really bug company that's hoping to reduce their carbon emissions to 0, not only that plastic is so bad for so many reasons (won't go into all if them or we would be here all day) but it really matters for so many important health benefits, so I couldn't be happier to order from a Chinese that recognises the severity of the situation! 5 stars to Tunv Kong House”

The food is top-notch – generous portions, well-cooked, and packed with flavour, with a great mix of pub classics and seasonal specials. The Sunday roasts are especially worth mentioning, with perfectly cooked meats and crispy roast potatoes. Drinks are well kept, with a good choice of beers, wines, and spirits at fair prices. The pub itself is cosy and inviting, with a lovely outdoor area for warmer days. A great spot for families, friends, or a casual pint – highly recommended!”
