“Delicious! This place feels underrated, it’s really strong especially compared to relatively local competition and delivers some great, elegant, well presented tasty dishes. Think fine dining for some, but without unnecessary faff and with more accessible dishes on the menu. The service is friendly and classy - we’d visit more if we were closer.”

“Been here many times over the years for lunch and dinner. Had dinner here recently on the special £21.99 menu, had chicken chat to start, lamb tikka for main with rice and upgrade to keegan nan instead of plain. Absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. Didn't have desert or coffee. They did bring us a shot of baileys though. Staff and service were great as always. Highly recommended”

“We recently held the wake for my late husband here. Jacqui was very obliging in helping to organize this for us. The food was nice and fresh and plenty for everyone. A really nice setting in the woods albeit a little hidden away if you don’t know where it is. I’ve also eaten lunch here but never been disappointed. Thank you.”

“I had the halloumi burger delivered- it was incredible. The bun was toasted perfectly, the filling was cooked really well and the sauce was excellent too. It came with seasoned fries that survived the delivery (they were still crispy) - the seasoning was just the right amount! The location makes it see like it might be a lower quality regular burger/pizza place, but my experience suggests it’s much more. Very high quality ingredients.”

“Went with my partner to the wine tasting we ith z set menu absolutely loved it, fantastic service from the waitress and waiter my partner got on really well with Danny, same daft sense of humour, he told us he's finishing the course soon and has a permanent job. “I have left a review before and was really happy with our meals. But I wanted to do a special update. We got married on the 6th of September 2025 and decided to have our reception at The Gate in Langwith. Phil, Denise and the staff were fantastic, listened to what we wanted and had no issues with my requests. On the day we turned up and Denise had decorated the tables in the orangery beautifully. The meal was at the very high standard we have come to love from the chefs and could not fault any part of it. All our guests said it was a beautiful meal and it made our day even more memorable. “Met a friend here and it was the first time I've been in the week. I had one of the hub/lunchtime meals, cheese and ham lasagne with lovely fresh salad and homemade coleslaw. It was so good! It filled me up for the rest of the day. Highly recommend”

“The food on both of my visits was nothing short of fresh and tasty! On the first visit, I had a Mexican (smash burger). This came with fries, but the drink was not included. The total was £11 but totally worth it. The portion sizes of the seasoned fries are good, and the chips were also very fresh with plenty of seasoning. The second visit, again, I tried peri peri burger with fries, this was also made to perfection, and they do not hesitate to give you sauces! The staff are friendly and always smiling and great at making recommendations and also gave me extra sauces to try! Overall, for the price, they are definitely worth it and I would recommend! Great presentation too!”

“The service is always great here. The staff are always friendly and professional. I also really like that every Capo Lounge has the same vibe through the UK. The ones I have been to in Mansfield, Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon are anyway. I can honestly say we have never had a problem with the service here. We eat and fine dine most weekends, but we still just love going for a good old English Fry Up! The cocktails are lush and YES, I drank one before 12pm ;)”

“Excellent Sunday lunch. Nice pub with a traditional pub feel, and a dining room facing onto a nice pub garden. Service was friendly and quick. Food was good. Had the trio roast which was tasty. Portion size was excellent (big). Roast had I think three meats, stuffing, roasties, mash, parsnip, carrots, cabbage, leeks and I think peas. Excellent value at 19 quid. I also had a side of pigs in blankets which I really didn't need but where also good. Whilst we don't have dogs, also loved the free doggie treats and water bowls for four legged friends as nice touch you don't often see. This was our first time here and we will definitely be going again.”

“I've literally been here two days in a row, so that says how delicious the food is!!!! The staff were fantastic with service, nothing was too much trouble. A mistake was made and rectified within minutes. The toilets are clean and checked efficiently. The outside seating area and the green views are very pleasant. Great chilled setting, we were here for 3 and a half hours....couldn't believe it. Money Well Spent!! This is absolutely the best pub in Warsop AND surrounding areas. My favourite part about this pub is it's DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!!!”

The food was good quick however it was within the hour delivery time. The food was still warm and I don't have a bad thing to say this time.”

“Visited 08/10/25 for the cycle trails. We ate here first & were very impressed with the food. The menu was varied, with plenty of choice & at the time we were there the service was almost immediate. Prices were typical cafe prices, but in my opinion the food definitely exceeded expectations. We will be back here soon I’m sure!”

“Fantastic value carvery. Front of house greeted us very politely and was told unfortunately only turkey was available, which was okay as I hadn’t booked a table in advance. Service was swift and very friendly. Food was very nice and well prepared and served. Was offered a complimentary desert due to the lack of meat options.
