“This is one of the best Chinese takeaways I've ever tried. And the service is outstanding, too. Maybe it's not the cheapest takeaway but most definitely the food they serve is worth the money. I want to take the chance and thank the owners and all who work there.”

“I have left a review before and was really happy with our meals. But I wanted to do a special update. We got married on the 6th of September 2025 and decided to have our reception at The Gate in Langwith. Phil, Denise and the staff were fantastic, listened to what we wanted and had no issues with my requests. On the day we turned up and Denise had decorated the tables in the orangery beautifully. The meal was at the very high standard we have come to love from the chefs and could not fault any part of it. All our guests said it was a beautiful meal and it made our day even more memorable. “The food on both of my visits was nothing short of fresh and tasty! On the first visit, I had a Mexican (smash burger). This came with fries, but the drink was not included. The total was £11 but totally worth it. The portion sizes of the seasoned fries are good, and the chips were also very fresh with plenty of seasoning. The second visit, again, I tried peri peri burger with fries, this was also made to perfection, and they do not hesitate to give you sauces! The staff are friendly and always smiling and great at making recommendations and also gave me extra sauces to try! Overall, for the price, they are definitely worth it and I would recommend! Great presentation too!”

“The service is always great here. The staff are always friendly and professional. I also really like that every Capo Lounge has the same vibe through the UK. The ones I have been to in Mansfield, Birmingham and Stratford upon Avon are anyway. I can honestly say we have never had a problem with the service here. We eat and fine dine most weekends, but we still just love going for a good old English Fry Up! The cocktails are lush and YES, I drank one before 12pm ;)”

“Went to rose cottage last night for our lovely friends 80th birthday. Got seated on the party table, decorated for her birthday by the lovely Bev. “I've literally been here two days in a row, so that says how delicious the food is!!!! The staff were fantastic with service, nothing was too much trouble. A mistake was made and rectified within minutes. The toilets are clean and checked efficiently. The outside seating area and the green views are very pleasant. Great chilled setting, we were here for 3 and a half hours....couldn't believe it. Money Well Spent!! This is absolutely the best pub in Warsop AND surrounding areas. My favourite part about this pub is it's DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!!!”

“This place actually went downhill for a short while. But leaving it literally months and fancying another burger I ordered and was really really happy with the food this time! The food was good quick however it was within the hour delivery time. The food was still warm and I don't have a bad thing to say this time.”

“The oak tree is one of the best places to have a drink in Mansfield it has great atmosphere, great lovely locals people that will talk to you and make you feel welcome. The entertainment in the pub is brilliant from sport, karaoke, live bands, quiz nights it amazing every night. The staff are ever so friendly and make you feel welcome can’t appreciate all of the front of house staff for there brilliant skill behind the bar and food service are amazing too, hat of the chef for lovely and well presented food. Highly recommended to anyone or any couples and family for food entertainment.”

“Always used pizza hood for pizzas etc, typical takeaway fast food but it always arrives hot, within 30 mins and tastes as nice as food can be for a takeaway. Reasonably priced too and the delivery drivers are nice. Can't fault it one bit and been using for 5+ years now.”

“Great service and a solid team today, particularly great service from Jordan, who despite clearly needing to complete some sort of spreadsheet was still working front of house to let his team do what they needed to do, and was friendly and professional, helping with various issues. Restaurant was also clean and tidy, everyone else seemed to be served quickly too.”
