“This was the loveliest place ever. I went with family & expected to have a nice Chinese meal. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw fresh sushi & sashimi on the menu! I was in my element & will be spending as much time eating here, from the Japanese menu, as I possibly can!”

“This place is amazing the girls were fantastic and the man who had been there for 45 years. We were cold and tired and hungry and the service was the best we’ve had anywhere. Please go here the food is unbelievable and excellent value I’m so sorry the picture is not good but we were so hungry I couldn’t hang about but we are going back next week so that speaks volumes”

“Yeah it's a more expensive option but at least the food is always consistently great and has been exactly what we had ordered, it's always delivered on time too and by great drivers. “EDIT: Went back with cash and the service and banter was top notch. Food decent too. Would recommend Heard great things about this place so drove up for big Friday tea for the family only to walk in and see 'Cash Only' sign. Chippy tea not cheap these days so didn't have enough in pocket to pay as, like most people, don't tend to carry cash these days. Will probably come back another time to try the food and leave another review then”

“Day or night, Edi's is fantastic, great food, atmosphere the owner is very friendly. Often comes over for a chat and always makes us feel welcome. I can't recommend this place enough. I really hope this business does well as they have put a lot of money and energy into the business.”

“Wow! Not enough stars to rate this restaurant. To say they blew us away with customer service is an understatement. 3 of us booked in for breakfast & we mentioned it was a pre wedding breakfast for the Groom, Grooms father & Best man. We arrived to find the table set up specially for us with a boxed flower arrangement & card written to the groom from all the staff. It was a tear jerker. Irrespective of the fact only 3 of us had booked to attend, the management had taken the decision to go the extra mile knowing we couldn’t possibly eat or drink enough to pay for the flowers or maybe they’d just break even. We talked about how amazingly kind they’d been all day. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I nearly forgot to tell you just how great the food was too! The best breakfast I’ve had for a few years also. They have freshly squeezed orange juice which was a treat you don’t often find. Super sausages & black pudding! The groom is vegan & Rondo caters as part of their standard offer a full vegan menu choice. Quite genuinely, it’s brilliant with awesome staff! Thank you all.”

“Ordered from here for the first time today after a bit of a rubbish day. We are so happy we did. The food was beautiful (the fried feta was gorgeous) and was such a lovely touch when I saw the little message they left on our order. Made the day end on a smile. “This is in our opinion the best fish and chip shop and definitely the longest serving. Fabulous little find with a restaurant at the side for anyone wanting to eat in The fish is out of this world and we have tried others but we are always comparing it to JM's. “This must be one of the best fish & chip shops that I've ever used. The quality is great - tasty fish with a nice thick crunchy batter and chips which have a good bite and not soggy. A standard portion is really large - however they do what they call 'mini' portions which are more like standard portions elsewhere. The shop and staff are well presented. The service is warm and friendly but efficient - you rarely have to wait long, even at busy periods. This place is close to where we live but is well worth travelling to for a top quality meal.”

“This place is just lovely and the breakfast muffin is to die for , all top quality produce and cooked beautifully. On top of this the customer service is brilliant, the young waiter ( kieran)who served us today is a real asset to this establishment and at such a young age could certainly teach many other in his industry what a good job looks like :)”

“Found this open one bank holiday Monday evening when my usual Bawtry haunts weren't. Well, what a find.... I've been back numerous times since for a takeaway. All the dishes I've had this far have been excellent, my wife especially enjoys the Tandoori chicken. While i've not had the same dish twice. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended”

“Pizza Piccante is always our go to takeaway choice! Food is always fantastic. We usually have a pizza or burger & both have always been great! Turns up piping hot, always enough topping on the pizzas & burgers & our order turns up on time, unlike other places we’ve ordered from. The milkshakes are amazing too! They nearly always throw us some cookies in our order, which are really appreciated! The delivery drivers are always lovely & really pleasant too, a credit to the company! Never had a bad experience or bad food from these guys! Would definitely recommend giving them a try!”

“The most underrated takeaway in Retford. Looks a bit ghetto some people might say but food tastes delicious. Food was fresh and nicely cooked. The last chinese takeaway we had a few months ago from a different place in Retford(F) left us very disappointed since it was our favourite place to order from, so we decided to try this one instead for a full meal. So glad we did. We've had the salt&pepper prawns a few times from here before and they're delicious. Will come back again for sure.”
