“I’ve been a regular at Rudy’s for the past two years and it’s definitely one of my favourite spots in Sheffield as a student. So when I brought my family here after graduation - It was such a pleasant experience as per usual and it was so endearing to see that the service and quality of food has remained consistent as it has been since my first visit! Our server Kim was really nice, she offered me free prosecco for graduating and also an extra dessert on the house even though we already ordered two! The pizzas came out really quickly and the servers were very attentive IE Asking us how we wanted the pizzas to be served, constantly refilling our water jugs. I’ll miss Rudy’s greatly as I graduate and move away from Sheffield as I had so many pleasant memories here especially for its price range, and I hope everyone else will get to experience it too!”

“Absolutely fantastic! Da Leo Italian Restaurant & Pizza is a true gem — the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into Italy for an evening. The food is bursting with authentic flavour; you can tell everything’s made with real care and fresh ingredients. The pizzas are perfect — thin, crispy crusts with generous toppings — and the pasta dishes are rich, comforting, and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the whole atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming.”

“A large family group visit to Koinonia at Diwali to celebrate a birthday on a Sunday lunchtime. We all had the Diwali set menu including the child with us. We had a warm friendly welcome into the nicely decorated restaurant and the staff were all dressed in beautiful cultural clothing. We were seated and offered drinks promptly. Staff came to speak to us about gluten free changes/options for one of our diners and shortly after our food started to arrive. Wow absolutely amazing, each course was generous in portion size, looked fabulous, smelled unbelievably good and tasted fantastic. We were all thrilled with our meals and the cost was very competitive, drinks were fairly priced, 0% Cobra was also available for the drivers amongst our group. We would all highly recommend a visit to Koinonia it’s a gem of a restaurant in the centre of Newark on Trent with plenty of nearby parking options”

“Me my wife and my two children booked a table on Sunday I pushed the boat out and went for my favourite steak which was cooked to absolute perfection. The staff are so welcoming and the atmosphere is perfect for a restaurant. As always we will be visting again”

“Had Chicken Manthi, Chicken Lollipop, and Neelagiri Special Chicken, all were amazing! The taste and flavor were just like eating back home in Kerala. Perfectly cooked, rich in spice, and full of authentic flavor. Friendly staff and quick service too. Easily one of the best Kerala restaurants in the UK.”

“Had a delicious meal at Pasha Turkish restaurant in Barnsley yesterday evening. There were 6 of us (aged 22 to 85 years old), and all of us enjoyed our food - it was fresh, cooked to order (e.g. one of us asked for their dish to be made without one of the listed ingredients), deliciously tasty, and good sized portions. Great service - the waitresses were pleasant, attentive, and professional. The restaurant has a good atmosphere, I’ve marked it down to 4 stars as the temperature was a little cooler than most and I was glad I had a cardigan. Although Pasha is on a side street in town, there is plenty of parking (including free parking if you know where to go - I gave the restaurant a ring in advance as I’m from out of town, and they were were very helpful) All in all, from our experience yesterday, this restaurant deserves to be popular.”

You must try the venison! Warm atmosphere with Japanese inspried decor, only space for 28 covers so booking far ahead is essential, Great attentive service.”

The food was delicious and great to try something different to other Indian restaurants. “Probably the best East-Asian food I've eaten at a restaurant. Excellent service and the food came promptly. The chef and owner explained different points on the menu in a very clear manner and gave great recommendations. The food itself was brilliant, the best part was that everything is halal since they don't use any pork and only use halal meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We were actually the only ones there at the time. I personally was a big fan of all the paintings hung up on the walls. The owner even explained the cultural significance behind some of them and what they meant. Overall a 10/10 experience. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going there and I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.”

“Had an incredible time at Beju. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, especially our server Nico who truly went above and beyond to make my friend’s birthday special. “Was in the area for one night and came across this place on Google so thought I’d give it a go and I’m glad I did. The waitress was brilliant, she was attentive and very polite. I came in on a Monday night and she was the only waitress out front, at times I felt she was a bit overstretched but this didn’t impact my experience. There was a lot of choice on the menu which I always see as a good problem to have so you won’t go hungry. The quality of the food was great too and the portion sizes were spot on, not too little and not too much. I found this place extremely good value for money, maybe this is due to where I live but I can’t complain at the price whatsoever. If I’m ever in the area again I will come back here for sure.”

“We recently ate here for a family reunion and the staff were incredibly kind to everyone but especially our son who uses a wheelchair and has profound disabilities. They called him Don Lucas (he was sat at the head of the table). They were so thoughtful in ensuring we were all looked after and we spent almost 4 hours enjoying the delicious food and atmosphere. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome and being disability inclusive. We will be returning for our next family get together.”

“Pocha is hands down one of my all-time favourite Korean restaurants. I’ve been here numerous times, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care — every dish bursts with authentic flavour. Whether it’s the comforting meats like the dubbap beef, the Gimbap , or perfectly crispy Korean fried chicken, everything hits the spot. What truly sets Pocha apart, though, is the atmosphere. The staff are absolutely lovely — friendly, welcoming, and always attentive without being overbearing. It feels like visiting a place where you’re genuinely remembered and appreciated. If you’re craving great Korean food in a relaxed and inviting setting, Pocha is a must. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!”

The food is amazing but it is the staff who make this an unforgettable experience, they really helped me choose what to try and I felt so welcome there, like home from home. “Excellent and highly recommended! We had the set meal for 2 which is 2 platters and a desert! The food was excellent as were the cocktails followed by prosecco. There was a DJ and 2 singers playing /singing live in the outdoors bit (which is covered). Very enjoyable advise you visit and try!”

“We were a party of three here for an evening meal, in this very authentic Thai restaurant. The chefs are Thai, the waitresses, bar one, are Thai, the proprietor is Thai, all the staff were dressed as Thais, and there was a real Thai welcome too to this very clean and fresh feeling place. The three of us ate a very good cross-section of Thai food on offer, and ALL of it was excellent - perhaps I should point out here that two of the party had previously lived in Thailand for thirteen years and speak Thai, and so they really know their Thai food! And the cost, well, coming from London, we were amazed at the value! We just wished we had an equivalent nearer to where we live!”

“Went here tonight (Saturday) it was busy but we had booked and was greeted with a warm welcome and seated straightaway. The food was absolutely fantastic, we had the 3 courses for £30 which was amazing value for money. The service was amazing. Will definitely be returning.”
