“Lovely setting for lunch. We sat outside and watched the world go by. The waitress was lovely and really helpful. They had a separate vegan and vegetarian menu with plenty of choice. The food was delicious, so were the cocktails.”

“Sitting in conservatory, was very comfortable. We just had cappuccino and cake then later pot of tea and chocolate tiffin. It was very nice. Staff were excellent, carrying a tray of tea/cake for me and clearing table when needed.”

“Some of the best food I've eaten at a Restaurant. Give this place a Michelin star already! Incredibly tasty Scallops, Seafood curry and a 'Winchester Pudding' which was a lovely local touch and paired perfectly with the accompanying clotted cream. Yes, it's expensive but it's worth every penny. Special mention goes out to Ali Ali, our excellent waiter.”

“Mission trousers: Bought Hobbs trousers before, straight leg no pockets !! Went in wearing them to search for something as I couldn't find anything that matched them. Beth to the rescue. Outstanding service, Left with a pair which look great, straight leg, no pockets ! Love them. Also found that she wrote a note in my bag about an upcoming trouser that would suit me. “Although Winchester does have a number of pizza restaurants already, The Pizza Tavern is a great new addition. As it's not a big chain, you're getting great quality pizzas and supporting a local independent business. My pizza was delicious, and I thought it was very fairly priced for the quality. The service was friendly and efficient, and I liked the rustic setup in the restaurant. It's not somewhere I feel you would go for an 'evening out' as when I visited, there were not any starters or desserts offered, but it is great for a quick meal if you're out and about or at the start of an evening out. I will definitely be back.”

The sushi was an absolute highlight of the meal. Each piece was a testament to the chef's skill and dedication to quality. The fish was incredibly fresh, almost melting in your mouth, and the rice was perfectly seasoned and held together beautifully. The attention to detail in presentation was impressive. Highly recommended for sushi enthusiasts!”

“Popped in on Halloween night as we were running behind on dinner due to trick or treating with the kids and they left us no dinner. Saw their Facebook post on special Halloween offers so gave it a go. Lovely friendly staff, even the chef popped out in to restaurant area. Sausage and mash was lovely, nice touches and locally sourced sausages. Couldn't stay long and only moved to Swanmore 3 weeks ago so at least we know this place is a food one to go to in future. See you again soon!”

“Wow! Iv ordered From here before but ordered the Bassit special meal this evening and whole family is very impressed . There is sooo much food! 2 medium pizzas, fluffy soft dough and they don’t skimp on the topping and tasted great. 2 medium kebabs great size and salad was fresh and you get loads, we haven’t even touched the box of chicken and chicken wing s yet or the garlic bread . Came with a bottle of Full fat coke which makes a nice change from the diet crap most takeeay places give you for free. It looks like we have a a new favourite takeaway . Thank you!”

The atmosphere was relaxed and cosy, perfect for catching up with everyone. Food and drinks came out promptly, and it felt like nothing was too much trouble. “We visited The Bridge Inn today, for a celebratory 90th birthday lunch, with our Mum. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and there was a lovely atmosphere. Liv was our waitress and she looked after us really well. In fact, all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, attentive but not overly so. We ordered drinks while we looked at the menu, which was quite varied and well laid out. We chose our mains and we didn’t have to wait very long before the food was served, nice and hot. A couple of us had the steak and ale pie, which was delicious! Two others had chicken dishes, which were very tasty too, and one of us had the special venison burger, which was amazing! Deserts followed, including sticky toffee pudding, chocolate brownies, and apple tart, all of which were absolutely delicious. James was our chef today, and we got to chat with him, briefly, after our meals. The prices were very reasonable indeed, and the service charge wasn’t added automatically, like many restaurants, but we didn’t hesitate to add our own cash tip, as the whole experience was just perfect. Definitely a birthday lunch to remember, and I’d highly recommend a visit to The Bridge Inn, at Shawford.”

“This is my 1st time visiting The White Horse. The food was absolutely beautiful and the cocktail I had was delicious. The staff were all very friendly, polite and very helpful. Megan our waitress was lovely, making sure we had everything we needed for our lunch. We sat and ate at the back of the bar, its was lovely sitting on the window seats. It was lovely and quiet, and peaceful. The best way to enjoy lunch.”

“Excellent food , great local take away in chandlers ford - excellent customer service, fast delivery and piping hot food. If I was to be super critical I’d say their prawn crackers need work and it’s a shame a pot of seaweed/cabbage is nearly £7. But can’t complain, food delicious.”
