Driver made me aware straight away, apologised and said to keep the food and he would be back asap with my order freshly cooked. 15 minutes later he came back with my original order and the food was piping hot. The room its self looked old and tired, but it was very clean. They have a restaurant in the hotel, but it’s not open yet, so we booked breakfast in the pub opposite, which was very nice.”

“We popped in to have a look at dining tables one evening and really impressed with the range on display. A very friendly sales consultant, Jayne Sargeant, came to see if we needed any help and showed us a variety of options based on our needs and requirements. She was very helpful and went through the various options open to us - helping us to move some chairs around to see which styles and colours would go with our shortlist of tables. She gave us some great advice about sizes and the various table extension mechanisms. We decided to go away and have a think about the colours and styles we wanted. We came back a few days later when we knew Jayne would be in and she again helped us talk through our shortlist and move chairs around again! She was very patient with us and nothing was too much trouble. We had our two young boys with us and she kindly gave them hot chocolate and warm chocolate chip cookies! We enjoyed a cheeky latte and cookie ourselves too. Jayne was very helpful and friendly, explaining all our options to us. She even got us a really good deal! We will definitely be back when it’s time to furnish our living room! Highly recommended.”

A special mention to Mac ('Big Mac') who was a delight to chat to and really looked after us. An excellent choice of food, including some new dishes for us, and quick service. The food was tasty, sensibly priced and generously portioned. The lemon chilli rice was lovely - we can't get this where we live. “I have been eating at the Royal Balti for YEARS, their service and food is brilliant 99% of the time, if there is a mistake, they rectify it swiftly and you have to commend that. I have travelled a lot and had many many curries, however, somehow Royal Balti make THE best curries I have ever eaten, I have converted many people of Telford to eat here and they swear by them too, all of their curries are delicious and if you like it spicy, they can give you a real kicker! Staff and service here is always fantastic and easy to deal with, thank you!”
