“Fun morning katakanu and canoe session with teens. Naomi and Joe were very helpful and wanted us to get the most out of our session, so they tailored it to us. Beautiful setting to sit and have an ice-cream after with picnic benches outside. We had a voucher from friends, and this experience would be an excellent experience present for a family.”

“Great area for all the family members and friendly dogs. After nice walk everyone can enjoy a cup of coffee or an ice cream in local coffee. Summer time is even better as you can enjoy water activities”

“It's a lovely lake and a nice easy walk around the lake. And it has paths leading off to other walks through the woodland. So you can make your walk as big or small as you like. Lots of nature trails and lots of things the kids can spot along the way. The little cow shed next door to the reserve so you can grab a cuppa. Card only. Oakhanger project's is how I came to know the place through kayaking and canoeing. Which I found through Walk talk action. Which you can also find on Facebook and get involved for people of all ages”

“All you have to do is book online via congleton town council and you get a 3 hour slot. It's about 60' in diameter and at its deepest it's just under knee deep to an adult, it's clean and safe for the kids. Best part, it's free. There are no refreshments on site, you can bring your own though. The only amenities on site are a toilet and some bins and 7 benches, there is space to lay out a towel and lounge in the sun though.”
