“Beautiful, well maintained park. Attractive flowerbeds surrounded by grass ideal to have a picnic on. Lovely enclosed children's play area with numerous different apparatus which our granddaughter lived. Toilets available and easy parking nearby. Lots of fascinating history associated with the park dating back to its opening in 1871 including a Victorian pavilion and drinking fountain.”

“All you have to do is book online via congleton town council and you get a 3 hour slot. It's about 60' in diameter and at its deepest it's just under knee deep to an adult, it's clean and safe for the kids. Best part, it's free. There are no refreshments on site, you can bring your own though. The only amenities on site are a toilet and some bins and 7 benches, there is space to lay out a towel and lounge in the sun though.”

“It's a lovely lake and a nice easy walk around the lake. And it has paths leading off to other walks through the woodland. So you can make your walk as big or small as you like. Lots of nature trails and lots of things the kids can spot along the way. The little cow shed next door to the reserve so you can grab a cuppa. Card only.
