“Went to Frey at Athame Piercings today for my nose pierced and to say I was feeling nervous is an understatement! But she was fantastic, chatty and informative…putting me completely at ease. Studio itself is not only ascetically pleasing but (most importantly) immaculate and sanitary. As for the piercing process, Frey was SO good…as my nerves were high she was quick but gentle and I can honestly say it was almost pain free - my eyes didn’t even water! I’m all set with a wealth of aftercare advice and now all’s left to do is wait patiently for 12 weeks or so until I’m back to swap for a hoop! Oh and resist any more piercings as I feel I’ve definitely got the bug!”

“Had my nose and industrial done today! Had a lovely gentlemen greet me at the door he was very polite and held good conversation while i filled out my forms. I was then taken up stairs to the piecing room where another kind gentlemen came in and prepared the piecing equipment he then extremely quickly (quick in a good way) did my nose and talked me through it while reassuring me the whole time! He then did my industrial piecing very quickly it hurt and i did tense up but he talked me through it! Very lovely staff and i had a great experience with great pricing too i can’t recommend this place more if i could rate higher i would!!!”

The shop itself is absolutely stunning, when you walk in and see the Victorian inspired decor and curiosities, you know you are in a creative space! “Can't recommend this place enough! I've had A LOT of tattoos since I was 18 and I'm now 39. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant! I'd seen a lot of CW12 Studios' work as I was following them on Facebook with a view to may be use them in the future. Well, the time came and I got in touch with Sara (I'd seen some work she'd done which I thought was really impressive). She was super helpful over Messenger and once we'd agreed a plan, I got booked in. The studio itself is stunning - a mix of original oak beams and modern minimalistic colours, and an edginess thrown in with skateboards and moody pictures. It's really, really clean and obviously Cal and his team's pride and joy. The tattoo artists are all very pleasant and really easy to chat to, adding to the Studios' welcoming atmosphere and warmth. Sara was super knowledgeable and very easy to speak with whilst sitting for my tattoo. Her talent is second-to-known and I will definitely be booking in with her again for future ideas I have. I've been to many tattoo studios and artists in my time - from dingy backstreet Blackpool studios to more stereotypical dark, gothic and depressing studios - and CW12 Studios' trumps every single one of them on its setting, atmosphere, cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism.
