“Had a fantastic afternoon tea yesterday. We had a disabled lady with us, so requested a table downstairs which we were given. In our group of 8 we have 2 vegetarians and 2 people that are gluten free and all were catered for. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and they kept coming. The food came out very quickly and everything was beautiful. We were all grateful for boxes to take our leftovers home. I have eaten here many times and the food never disappoints! Thanks again ladies!”

“Called here yesterday and we were so impressed. When we looked inside the tables were either occupied or reserved but we were offered a table in the courtyard at the back. Was a very hot day but we were under big parasols so it was lovely. Our order was taken promptly even though they were very busy and the food was delicious. We had the small fish and chips which was just a nice size for us. The staff were all absolutely lovely and we will definitely be back. Read on another review that you can sit outside when it's cold and they bring blankets, definitely doing that!”

“Maple Gardens: This is a little gem near to our home that we did not know was there…. Until recently!! So we called in and my wife and I had a big full English breakfast with a coffee each. Coffee Top ups were 99p. The food was quickly served up and there was a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfasts were nicely portioned and very tasty. Coffee was excellent. Service was quick, attentive and with a smile. Menu was basic but with some gluten free choices. We spent some time outdoors in the sunshine which was very pleasant with plenty of wildlife close by. Highly recommend a visit and this may become a regular haunt!”

I also loved that the café is dog-friendly—this was my first time bringing a family dog to a café, and the staff made it such a welcoming and relaxing experience for both people and pets. The customer service was excellent, and I enjoyed it so much that I grabbed some bakery items to take home—they were just as good! I’ll definitely be visiting again. Highly recommend!”

If you are made to feel like they are going the 'extra mile' for you, then that is what makes your experience unique. Café Bee is exactly like that..! When my friends and I saw this small place with a couple of tables inside and outside we thought that we would just get a cup of tea and a sandwich to takeaway.. but we looked at the menu above the counter and it read English breakfast and Turkish breakfast. The owner was very friendly and asked me if there was anything that I liked, which I thought was funny because I only saw two options.. English & Turkish breakfasts, so I said can you do three English breakfasts please? He checked to see if maybe we wanted to try the Turkish one but we thought we would stick with what we know. The inside of this café is quite small and cosy, there were already two other customers in there so the owner asked if we wanted our order served outside. Seeing as it was a bright and sunny day we were happy to do that.. he even allowed us to take a table outside so we had more table room. The breakfast was amazing and went down extremely well and I especially liked that honey was served with the butter and the toast. All the plates were empty at the end because it was so enjoyable. This little place is a hidden gem.. if you happen to be in Kensington Olympia you must visit and try for yourselves.”
