“Had my nails done here on a whim by Tan’s apprentice - an absolutely lovely young woman who took such care and had fabulous attention to detail - I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. She and Tan and the other customer (a lovely lady who works in a secondary school locally) were just so nice and warm and friendly. I went for a natural colour in gel and I’m so impressed. “10/10! I travel an hour to get my nails done here every month and every time I leave the salon obsessed with my nails, there isn’t anything that Paulina can’t do! My nails have never been as strong or as long as they are right now, before coming here I struggled with growing my nails and would always get extensions at different salons, now my natural nails look fabulous every single month, with no breakage and no extensions (yay!). I tell all of my friends to come here. I love all the ladies who work here, I also get my eyelashes done here and love them every time - honestly a fantastic salon, all of the ladies are talented.”

“I wanted to try a new Salon and treat myself as I hadn't had my hair done in about 3 years. I was nervous to try somewhere new but everyone was so welcoming and I felt so much better when I came out of the salon and my hair was beautiful. Big thank you to Kirsty ( I think that was the name of my stylist, apologies if I'm wrong!!) I have a lot of hair and she was an absolute super star to manage for such a long time without her arms aching. Will definately be returning”

“I met Julie at least 30 yrs ago at DRI hairdresser's. I then took my young son Thomas from age 1yrs who was a nightmare customer! I then followed Julie to Hairstudio along with my Mum and Sister. I then later met Kirsty. These 2 ladies are fabulous, warm. funny chatty and down to earth human beings and make you feel comfortable and able to ask hair advice etc Apart from being amazing stylists, colourists and give truthful hair advice, they are always genuinely interested in you as a person I have shared births, christenings, marriages, divorces and death with these 2 ladies and I have laughed, cried and chatted and gossiped in this salon. I have also enjoyed meeting other customers over the years. I look forward to visiting this salon for my hair and nails. If you want posh, no chat, no atmosphere then don't visit here. If you want excellent hair advice, amazing stylists, colourists, nails, chat gossip and a lively family friendly atmosphere then this is for you ! I get stressed at the thought of visiting another salon ( and I have compared others) I will be knocking on Julie and Kirstys door when I'm 80 !”

“First time I’ve been used this salon, when booking the appointment, the person who took the call was helpful and very friendly. On arrival I was made to feel really welcome, I was offered tea or coffee and given a huge choice of colours to look through before she started my shellac. I didn’t get her name, but she was lovely and was helpful with suggestions on what would look good. My nails looked beautiful and I thought the price was very reasonable. All in all a very positive experience. Definitely recommend.”

The waxing itself was done quickly and efficiently—no fuss, no unnecessary discomfort. I had a great experience interacting with Sarah by phone prior to my appointment. She was clear and listened to my specific requirements and offered suggestions when I wasn't sure about the colour and length of hair I wanted. I felt confident before my appointment and I was not let down and am very pleased with the outcome. I thought the time quoted was ambitious, but Sarah even finished ahead of time.
