“I had such a wonderful experience at Bella Italia! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted authentic and exceeded my expectations. What really made the visit stand out was the service. Madi and Destiny took care of us, and she was fantastic from start to finish. She was polite, attentive, and went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating, always with a warm smile. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days, but Madi made the whole dining experience extra special. I’ll definitely be coming back — both for the amazing food and the outstanding service. “Had Sunday roast platter lunch with my family and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was superb with a warm, friendly welcome and undivided attention throughout - nothing was too much trouble. The timing of the meals was spot-on and the food was incredible - good-sized portions, very flavoursome, presented well and overall delicious. It was good value for money too and worth every penny and more. Will definitely be returning for another visit. Highly recommended”

“Visited the pub earlier this evening - what a great end to a busy week! We were truly impressed by the service throughout our visit - we were welcomed by all staff members, seated within seconds and our order was taken within a few minutes. Service was incredibly quick. The food was faultless - the best mixed grill in the Midlands! The butter chicken was just perfect - will definitely be ordering again. We also had sides - chips, naan and rotis - everything was spot on! If only we had room for more, we would have ordered a sweet treat :) the quality cannot be matched. A lovely family run pub/ restaurant - I’d definitely put it at the top of my list for recommendations. Whether it’s a family meal, quick munch or a date night for two, you’ll not be disappointed! Being from Leicester I’ve always found Lichfields curry establishments very average, in fact so average I rarely would eat in them. The new Heritage Indian is by far the best Indian in Lichfield and one I will without doubt be eating in on a regular basis.”

“Not a bad lil bar, we've visited a couple of times, one of the few places you can get inch's cider which is a favourite with us. We've eaten here before and it's good quality food, actually better than I was expecting but not quite the restaurant quality it's priced at. Good selection of drinks, priced similar to The Sunbeam and George Wallis, with the food, the outdoor area and sports on I can't help but think this place would be jam packed if they priced closer to Billy Wright or The Old Still. The outdoor area is really lovely, tucked away as it is the surrounding buildings dampen the traffic noise and the trees add shade and also help give the impression you're not in the middle of town. The plastic wicker chairs are really comfortable the whole area was clean and tidy, a really nice place to relax and sink a couple of cold ones after shopping before heading home.”

“Jen was absolutely amazing, we were at a loose end on New Year’s Eve and really needed somewhere to take our toddler. The play area was full but she managed to squeeze us in for a little play. We come here most sundays too after swimming and will definitely continue. Restaurant area is also brilliant for food and very child friendly”

“This place is a hidden gem, beautiful authentic pizza one of the best I’ve had in the uk. Their carnivoro pizza is fabulous, I also wish their menu had a couple more options on it to choose from. Will definitely be ordering again.”

“Amazing roast dinner. I had the lamb which I asked for pink and it was spot on. The vegetables especially the cauliflower cheese was excellent. The roast potatoes and parsnips were cooked lovely. The atmosphere is good. All in all a great place for Sunday lunch (or other meals).”

“Superb meal served by Ronnie. We had the Sunday set menu: Calamari Chipotle chicken with chilli sauce 8oz ribeye steak 9oz rump steak Unfortunately didn't have lemon tart in stock so had the Raspberry Torte which was superb Sticky toffee. Pudding. Although it was only mentioned in conversation that we came here today as part of a birthday celebration. Ronnie went above and beyond to bring out a special birthday brownie treat. Highly appreciated. Loved the food and the atmosphere and the service was spot on.”

“My wife and I made our first visit to 'The Stump' ( Mount Pleasant) since the 1980's . After a recommendation on Facebook we decided to call in for a late night drink after playing Bridge. The Mount Pleasant is open until 23:00 and serves until 22:45 . We had checked on the Real Ale Finder site that the Mount Pleasant regularly updates and found that they had an interesting Abbeydale Hazelnut and Coffee Stout on. They regularly change 9 of the real ales that they have on offer and a chalk board lists the beers and prices . The Mount Pleasant has a long ( thin) layout with a car park ( also long and thin on its right hand side ) . We accessed the pub via a rear door from the car park . A covered smoking deck is at the back then the single door access ( with a single step) leafs into a corridor that runs the length of the pub with single doorways to enter the front and rear bar rooms . The pub was warm and friendly with a group of people at another table enjoying snack type food . We had a half of the Abbeydale Stout and were pleasantly surprised by the price of only £3.90 for a pint of this 5.2% strength Stout. We enjoyed it so much we squeezed in another half before closing time . The service was friendly and when I mentioned that the last time we visited the Mount Pleasant was in the 1980's the landlady jokingly replied that she was not even born then. It is not surprising that The Mount Pleasant is in the 2025 Camra Good Beer Guide . We both enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend The Stump as a 'must visit ' if you are in the area .”

“An excellent restaurant! The prices are very reasonable and the choices from the menu are amazing, they have gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, so there is definitely something for everyone. We had the four courses and thought the food was perfect. There's lots of choice for drinks too, non-alcoholic, wines, beers, spirits and cocktails. The restaurant has a very friendly and warm atmosphere, so this is a great place for a date, meal with a friend or to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.”

“My interest was piqued when I saw few reservations were available a month in advance. As soon as the food arrived, it all made sense. The portions are fantastic and the starters are almost mains. It's rare for me not to finish a meal but I had chips and almost half a pizza left over for lunch! Staff were all great and heartening to see the business doing well.”

“The food at Tapri is fabulously flavoursome! I’ve been to many curry restaurants, but none have the depth of flavour and perfect blend of spices that Tapri does. The staff always give us such a warm welcome and really take care of us every time we visit. If you haven’t been yet and you’re craving a tasty feast, you must try it. I honestly can’t recommend it enough!”

“Great old pub. Bitter is wonderful. £2.70 ales on Monday as at Nov 24. Pork pies and cobs no longer served due to Brewery concerns over allergens, but Spar next door.”
