Today I visited Sports Direct at Leckwith, Cardiff, because my Nike Air Max developed a sole puncture within a month of purchase. The assistant manager couldn’t resolve the issue, so I asked to speak with the store manager. Unfortunately, her response was dismissive and argumentative. She claimed the damage occurred because I “wore the shoes incorrectly” and insisted it wasn’t a manufacturing fault, refusing any exchange or refund. When I expressed my frustration with their policy, the manager raised her voice instead of trying to resolve the issue. This was unacceptable and unprofessional, especially coming from someone in a leadership role. I’ve always trusted Nike for product quality and customer care, so I’m very disappointed to receive such poor service from one of their retail partners. I hope both Sports Direct and Nike take this issue seriously and work to improve their customer service standards.

Went in just now to buy running shoes. Served by a young guy, Donston (sorry if spelling wrong). Very knowledgeable and helpful. Really knew how to direct me to the exact right shoes for the type of running I would be doing and went out of his way to assist me with all my questions. Thanks.

A very big thank you to the wonderful young guy in Sports direct Leckwith in Cardiff who took the time to highlight what was in stock in the shoe size I wanted. He was courteous, patient and helpful and he will go far!

They sell kids clothes, but they were so unkind to kids! My kids were wrongly accused of breaking their price tag, in fact they were just trying to help fix it. Even after my explanation, the male staff still didn’t apologize to any of us at all. Kids should never deserve such kind of disrespect and discrimination!!

Fantastic customer experience!! I have to say the lady who assisted me with my shopping today was marvellous. Charlotte was so helpful, and nothing was to much trouble. Not only did she explain about the various offers in store, but she even explained about the benefits of setting up a fraser card. Great customer service, and I'll most definitely call back in the future. She is such an asset to the store, and so we're those that assisted her today. Thank you!

Didn't even know this Sports Direct was here as it's tucked away in the corner. Decent size, and has a Game store inside as well.

No point to ask for help as there is hardly anyone there you could ask for help. Even after 10 minutes found someone works there, they just tell you Everything is on shelf or display. They won't refund anything, only credit note if you change your mind.
