   In 2018 Barras home improvements did my flat following a sewer flood. We had loads of problems with their builders throughout the build but today we discovered something new… a drainage pipe behind the cupboards in my kitchen burst and what I found was disgusting. After taking the cupboards out I discovered that the pipe had an upwards trajectory and had been split at the bracket as well as coming out of the pipe. 2025 and those cowboys are still ruining my life. Trustpilot removed my review because it wasn’t a “recent” one but had to be fought through the ombudsman but this is recent…. It’s today. You can see the cowboy plumbing n the picture attached. Going to B&Q now coz I can do a better job than this. The drainage is from left to right and you can see where the pipe has burst at the bracket and come apart at the joint. Fuming…. Unless this company has had all new staff and new management since 2018 avoid them if you don’t want ongoing major issues…. There are many more but this is just today

   We had Barras to design and fit our kitchen out.We are very pleased with the result. Excellent workmanship and a big thank you to Steve, Martin and Matthew. Would highly recommend Barras to anybody wanting a new kitchen. Also a big thank you to John, Gary and James for their input. Would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

   Well what can I say about this company other than EXCELLENT in every aspect. We couldn't find any kitchen company that could fit a corner sink and worktops. Everyone we approached were only interested in doing a full kitchen re-fit which we didn't need . That was two years ago. We have just had these guys back again to fit a walk in shower screen, new toilet and flooring to both rooms. Again excellent service start to finish. Well done to Gary, Andrew, Steve and James. Would never use anyone else.

   The service and advice you all provided from the day we walked into the store was excellent. You listened and answered all our questions honestly, never pressurised us and always guided us to make the right decisions. Once the worked was booked in the whole project ran like clock work and the 5 weeks flew by. The fitters were professional, very experienced and never let us down.    We are delighted that we chose Barras Home Improvements for our kitchen refit. From our first contact to the final visit we had excellent, friendly and professional service. All staff we met took time to discuss our needs in a kitchen and tweaks were easily made to the initial plan. From the beginning we were given an estimate of time that the work would take and this was highly accurate. The kitchen fitters, plasterer and electrician arrived at the time stated. They were polite, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable in their trade. Gary was always available to contact for any questions we had. We will certainly use the company again and would highly recommend them .

   Having searched for a company to manage all trades and provide excellent service. I recommend Barras Home Improvements. We decided to have a bathroom overall and discussed our needs with John. After a visit to our home, we identify what we required, we were provided with a full CAD view by James of our project and a full costing package. Gary was the project manager who kept us updated with progress. The team consisted of employed trades, structural removers, plasterer, tiler, plumber, cabinet fitter and electrician. All trades working in unison managed by Gary. Thanks for providing a stress-free installation to all of the team.
