“Food was gorgeous! I had a turkey and ham dinner. We ordered coffees but after 25 minutes they never arrived so we paid the bill and went elsewhere. We phoned the week prior to book a table and were told just to arrive. We were queued out the door but only had approximately 10 minutes to wait for a table. Staff were very friendly. It was very noisy with people so it was quite difficult to have a conversation.”

“A real hidden gem, just 10 mins on the train out of Belfast. The service was brilliant, really knowledgeable without being intimidating or pushy, and instead helped us order without overdoing it. The wine selection by the glass was great, and good value too, again, great recommendations. The food is the real star of the show, we went for the lightly grilled oysters, the jambons (which really feel like one of those dishes you’ll be craving every few days after), the moreish artichokes, steak tartare Caesar salad which was great fun, skate wing and their signature crispy potatoes. The food comes out when it’s ready in a really clever order, no rushing. The Veda treacle tart was a standout for dessert, and ask for a ‘Belfast coffee’ - like an espresso martini but nicer. By no means cheap, but quality of ingredients and the vibes were brilliant. We’ll be back again!”

“Went to the wee bistro today without a reservation as I was only in the area for work last night and wanted some food before heading off. The staff were friendly and we're so incredibly in-control despite how busy it was. The music was good, loud but not too loud or overbearing. All the food was seasoned and tasted fresh. All portions were big and price was reasonable. Would 100% come back again”

“Called into Billy for a time this morning and very good place, and a lovely guy on top of it. Came out sorted with good long t-shirts - i'm 6'7'' and heavy but they have the right long but roomy sizes. not baggy like a lot out there. Carries all sorts from jeans to jackets.. even jocks. “Went here with my girlfriend 4 times in 7 days, would've gone more if we weren't trying to experience other places. Staff were all super friendly and welcoming. It was neat and clean, you can tell the staff care about this place. You get served quickly and the food is made just as quick infront of you. The food was next level, we had the Palestinian Falalfel, Grilled Halloumi Sandwich, Breaded Halloumi Sandwich and the Couscous salad with extra falafel. All of it was indescribable, truly the best food we had during our stay in Belfast. Words can't descibe how much i recommend this place, come by and give it a look, you will not be disappointed.”

“We stopped off here on the way from Belfast to Derry after being recommended to go here by friends and by god were we glad we did! Our warm welcome from our very attentive waitress to having our drinks on our table within minutes and allowing the perfect amount of time for us to be ready to order. The kids menu for our 4 and 6 year old was great, they loved being able to choose a starter, main and dessert and having the fruit skewer as a choice is super healthy and great to see (i have added menu to pics). Our food was absolutely beautiful and nothing was left on our plates, perfect portions, perfectly cooked and presented and top class and friendly service from the staff. This will definitely be our go to place for trips to Belfast in future (just 2 mile from roundabout at Magherafelt (Derry to Belfast route) really couldn't recommend here any higher. Full marks!”

“We have been converted! This pizza is now our favourite pizza in Belfast. I forgot to take a photo of the base, which to me is always the most important. It was well cooked, not 1 drop of grease on the box and very tasty. I'm usually a chunky chip gal but wherever they get their potato's - yum! Highly recommend.”
