“Both our dishes were very tasty but after living and working in Thailand, I expected this Thai restaurant to serve Pad Thai with wide flat rice noodles "sen lek" but they either cut them very thinly or they used spaghetti noodles, it was very hard to tell ? The Thai green curry was nicely presented but should have been served in 2 bowls, with more green curry sauce. As you would expect from a mainly Thai staffed restaurant, the staff and the service was perfect. Lovely seating areas with individual seating bays on the entry level, plus a few bays elevated up, giving a great dining experience. The restaurant decoration is very nicely done.”

“First time at Tattu but will defos be back. Has very good food and atmosphere. We loved our server Tayeeba who was very attentive and explained the menu well. We order the kung po prawn and char sui pork mains with sides of the wagu beed gyoza and the spicy egg noodles. All were a very good standard and tasy. To top it off for dessert I had the winter blossom which I’d recommend. Was very cool that it came with the fog effect. Would recommend.”

“As a New Yorker with high pizza standards (and a serious slice craving), Franco Manca in Stockbridge absolutely delivered. The pizza was delicious—perfectly balanced, flavorful, and honestly lacking nothing. The crust had that ideal chew, the ingredients were fresh, and every bite felt intentional. Service was excellent as well: friendly, efficient, and welcoming without being overbearing. This has officially become my go-to pizza spot whenever I’m visiting Edinburgh. “This place is incredible!! The food was reasonable for a high end product and atmosphere. From the moment we entered the staff were very kind and helpful, asking us about our day, and offering to take our coats. Moments like this made it better than better. The food and drinks menus were both detailed which made it perfect for an overthinker like myself for picking the perfect drink. The food menu was the same, and described exactly what you will get. My partner and I shared the chateaubriand which was a perfect serving for us (with the extra sides) the beef melted in our mouths, and the sauces were amazing, I’d especially recommend the Malbec and bone marrow jus, it was an excellent extra for the beef. Sides were perfect, the broccoli tasted Smokey and cooked perfectly to be soft with a small crunch, the spinach was refreshing and lemony, the mushrooms were peppery and were a larger portion, and the chips were lovely and crispy with a fluffy inside. The staff were great, so attentive and helpful with our questions and chit chat. I couldn’t recommend this place more, for a high end meal with a better price tag than some steakhouses. Amazing!!”

They were busy but kept me informed, if your a busy business you're clearly good at your profession. “Yesterday afternoon my friend and I were walking past Quate & Co and stopped to admire the wonderful display of gorgeous flowers. One of the owners, (unfortunately I do not know her name), came out of her shop and asked my friend and me if we were going home. We told her we were. The owner picked up two exquisite bunches of flowers and gave us one each, wishing us well for our evening. What a wonderful surprise for us both! Needless to say we were thrilled with our flowers, both grinning from ear to ear. I'm still smiling even now as I'm writing this!! And still thrilled with our flowers! Everything about the owner's positive attitude and actions and beautiful flowers tells us Quate & Co is definitely a shop to remember and visit.”

“We were pleasantly surprise to find a place in Edinburgh which served "all you can eat" buffet and there was plenty of vegetarian food. Not only there was continental food but a lot of Indian including Dosa, mutter paneer, chili paneer, dal tadka, pani puri, bhel, pav bhaji and a lot more. Desserts included Jalebi and Gulab jamun. A very courteous team of people who were willing to help at every step. Absolutely awesome experience.”

“wagamama's food taste is good but i will say it's not like the actual korean authentic tastebud. took chicken options but they gave same sauce for both of the different dishes...no change. service was really good. you can pay in wagamama app from your phone and by logging in can get free prawn crackers.”
