“We had a great time at the football social club. We hired this for a staff night out at a very reasonable rate. Drinks were likewise reasonably priced, the facilities were clean and the decor has had an upgrade. Lovely friendly staff who always served with a smile and friendly chat. “I was back in the Empire for the first time in over twenty years and what a nostalgia trip it was! I did not realise that they served food now and I must admit that I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of it. We had fish and chips, the Empire Burger and the Mexican Chilli Chicken burger, all with generous portions of chips or wedges. We were all very impressed. I had the chicken burger and it was so tasty! As we ate, we were entertained by the talented Jackie Rainy. Her acoustic set was just perfect and not loud which meant we could still have a conversation and enjoy the music at the same time. Overall we had a great time in the Empire and we would be very keen to return soon and do it all again!”

Toilets very clean, only issue was every time we wanted to pay by card, the barman had to go next door to get the card machine (we were in the buffet room), also had to go next door for certain mixers and other alcoholic drinks. But this did not take anything away from the bar experience which was excellent. Staff very friendly.”

“We had a fantastic stay at Benedicts. We booked the dinner, bed and breakfast deal and upgraded to an executive suite (book direct with the hotel - not through booking.com). The food was excellent as was the service (from reception to the bar and restaurant) The room was quiet despite being at the front of the building and the bed extremely comfortable. Thanks to all staff members that made our stay perfect. Loved the Halloween decorations throughout too.”

“Top night out in Belfast! The show they put on is top notch entertainment from start to finish. Wide variety of different performances although Kerry Quinn is an amazing singer and performer! Beautiful venue inside with that luxury feel. Service from the staff is second to none and always available. Toilets clean all night long. Go here for a different night out and you will end up on your feet dancing or maybe even on the tables dancing! Food was better than I expected and it being a christmas night out, I had to have the turkey which was a bit on the tough side but tasty enough!”

We had the Korean chicken dirty fries and Korean chicken burger with sweet potato fries, then got a milkshake to go. All the fries were perfectly crispy and the sauce was tasty. The prices are reasonable. I would definitely go back and would recommend it to others”
