“The food is so good and cooked to perfection and the kitchen is open so you can see how clean everything is. I actually have to a couple of miles to get there but it's the only Chinese take out I would eat.”

“Last minute birthday treat for our (now) 7yo daughter. Service was great and staff couldn't do enough for us. We opted for 3 course special.. All the food was delicious and in generous portions, so we left stuffed! There is a typical Sushi train in the middle of the restaurant which is freshly stocked.. all looked really nice. Hope to return again soon! Well deserved 5 stars.”

“Went for my partners birthday this evening, first time we have ever visited harmony palace and can I say I have never felt more comfortable then the amazing staff made us feel here! I had mentioned when ordering our food it was my partners birthday and the staff remembered this after they cleared our plates brought out a chocolate cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. They made us feel so welcomed with our 16 month old as well it was all round a brilliant experience and the food was obviously top tier- cannot wait to dine again with you guys!”

“This was one off the best experiences I have had and I eat out a lot. The owners were there working as hard as the staff and the staff were on the same level of commitment. Food was perfect and from all the Thai restaurants I have frequently used this was by far the best. So inviting and just the perfect atmosphere. Amazing”

“fGreat little spot for a Chinese takeaway. They do the usual Chinese takeaway dishes (all of which I've tried) and they're all pretty good! We come here every week since July and the staff are always super friendly. Food portions are just right, never leaving hungry or super bloated. My favourite dish would be their Salt and Chilli King Prawns with fried rice but I'd recommend a pint or two with your meal to combat the spice! There's a great atmosphere that comes with the restaurant being within a bar and it's quite a unique experience when eating your Chinese meal :). I've been here for 8 months now and it's brilliant every time. They also have their own beer on tap called the Southside Lager with is pretty good. Overall I would definitely recommend trying this place out. Prices are usual for food in restaurants / bars. You can always stay longer for a few more drinks too. Edit: Have been here for over 2 years now, the staff are always friendly so definitely give it a try :)”

“A little gem in Strandtown, east Belfast. The restaurant was buzzing when we arrived but we didn’t have long to wait until we were shown to our table. Chose olives as a snack then two fish based dishes. The haddock fishcake starter with fennel salad was delicious. Sea bass with mussels, prawns and squid in a tomato based peppery sauce and a large crunchy crouton was equally good. We had some sides of chips, green salad and green vegetables alongside the main dish. Very satisfying course but still had room for the strawberry vacherin meringue dessert. Another lovely dish. Servers were attentive and friendly throughout the evening with just the right amount of wait time between courses. All very reasonably priced. Definitely will return.”

“Wow. A fantastic Italian. Every time I go here I'm impressed with the service but most of all the food. I had a tomato based dish (sorry can't remember which!) and it was out of this world. The meatballs starter was seriously tasty too. Goats cheese polenta which we've had before is very good too. My partner had carbonara and was less impressed - she said it was OK but not amazing. However that's her experience and mine was epic so giving this five stars. They do the best 0% beer - Heineken - on draft. Best 0% beer I've ever tasted. They even do gluten free pasta. If you're into Italian food, I don't think you'll be disappointed (although I've never been to Italy so take that with a grain of salt maybe!)”

“We ordered chicken tikka and lamb tikka plus pilaf rice and naan bread from the Bengal Brasserie on Ormeau Road last night. The order came right on time and the food was hot. Surprisingly we were also given vegetable dal to go with the meals which was very good - lots of different vegetables and not overcooked. The lamb tikka was very tender and tasty. There was so much food we didn't even try the chicken tikka. We'll have that tonight. We think we'll start doing this on a regular basis!”

“Lovely place seen on social media and rarely they live up to a description. But it did, very friendly staff, we arrived just before lunch but they allowed us to order early from that menu. Food was excellent and I doubt you’d go home hungry from it. Well priced too. Well done”

“This is by far one of the best Indian restaurants I've eaten at. The food was so delicious, very fresh and not oily at all. While we were waiting for take out, so many Irish locals walked in to either place an order or pick up their take out. The chef and the entire team at this restaurant are so nice. “I'm envious of the lucky people of Bangor who get to enjoy this fantasy Chinese every night. The woman taking our order over the phone was pure good vibes; so friendly and helpful. The excellent service continued when we went to pick up. And that's just the service ... The food was mouthwatering, deliciously flavoursome and fresh with great quality ingredients. The Mongolian chicken and prawn toast were incredible, but everything was a 10/10. Very reasonably priced and great portions. I would definitely recommend this place and it would be worth a travel from Pluto for me.”

“So sorry about the review at the bottom. I've only seen It tonight, and I'm totally shocked... As It was not for Golden Bell... As I love their food, and the staff are amazing. The review was It was for the Chinese behind Woodburn barracks. China style.. I have not deleted it, as I want people to know it was a mistake. Hope the owners see this, and accept my apology.. As i love Golden Bell. But the night I got my granddaughter to write the review, she obviously put in the wrong Chinese, as she's knows I usually use Golden Bell. But that night I used china style, as I would now and again when passing.. I will change the rating for you, but will leave that bad review below. So people can see that it wasn't meant for Golden Bell. My son always used you's too for years, as he loved your Chinese. He's living in Australia now, and always looks forward to your Chinese when he's home on holiday. The Review below, was not for Golden Bell!!! Chinese has went down hill big time. Girl on desk very nice. But the curry, is not the same, tasted weird... I actually had two family members on the toilet, with terrible cramps, shortly after eating. That's the second time it's happened. Wasn't sure if it was the Chinese that caused it the first time. But now I'm sure it was the Chinese that caused it. Could be food, that has been off, or germs. But think they need to look into it. Definitely won't be back...”

“Excellent take-away, very quick, food is always fantastic and good value for money! Their box meal deals that run Sunday-Friday are a fantastic addition! Been going to this take-away for well over 10 years and not many beat its quality. Anything on the menu is great to get, I highly recommend their salted chilli chicken and beef & blackbean sauce. When life was tough or things weren't going right, Mario's always came through. But always ask for extra base sauce! That is the key to happiness!!”
