“Well, what can I say? From the second we entered we were made to feel like regulars and friends by a fantastic young man. He recommended the seating to be comfortable because i am disabled and a real ale which was delicious. The food was amazing. Piping hot and great quality. I had the sea bass which was beautiful and came with 2 generous fillets and a king prawn sauce with loads of whole prawns in it! My brother in law and my sister had pork belly and 10oz rib eye. He said his was best pork he had ever had and my sis was over the moon with her steak although it was very slighty over medium, which she ordered but it wasnt an issue. All the veg was to die for, fresh and al dente with good bite. We chose the Swallows from a quick google dive for Pauls birthday and were so glad we did. Yes, it is a little more on the pricey side for us but in my book worth every penny especially for a treat. So a big thank you to the amazing staff and we will return.”

“Omg when I say this place is a must for there food I’m not lying the chef Sean’s food is to die for we came in a week or so ago and ordered the gluten free curry and my mother had the chicken and mushroom pie when I say it was absolutely delicious I even told the barmaid to tell the chef for the 2nd time how Fantastic it was after the barmaid took our plates I stayed a little longer had another drink and as I was leaving. I saw the Sean the chef come out the kitchen and i told him again how lovely his food was I came back last week and was greeted by the exact same barmaid who served us prior to my last visit but this time I brought my 2 friends from Shropshire to try his food but unfortunately the kitchen was closed upon arrival as I came a little late in all honesty but we still stayed for drinks and told the lovely barmaid we will bring them back again soon to try his food I didn’t get the barmaids name but she had lots of tattoos very cheerful I’ll be back again soon for another visit”

“I had an amazing experience at this pub! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. “Very cosy setting with lovely staff and customers ✨ I come in every couple of months when I want a chill evening with a cocktail and catch up. “I had a lovely time this afternoon. Mom and I went to the restaurant/cafe. The food was lovely, and the staff were very helpful. I had a cake to go, with I had at home with a nice cup of tea. My mother and I also bought some very nice chocolates from the on-site chocolate tear. I also enjoy seeing all glass objects at the glass blowing shop, the ceramics at the pottery shop, and some inspiration art in the art and craft shop. All in all, it was a very enjoyable afternoon.”

“A really big thank you to Jodie and her team for yesterday evening from Bromsgrove Astronomical Society. We held our annual inter-society Christmas Quiz in the function room with some 40 of us attending. Everybody commented on the excellent buffet , not only the quality but quantity. The facilities were really good and service excellent and this all contributed to a wonderful evening. Again a big thank you to the Court Leet. We’ll be back next year Dave Jones”

“Back over from France for a few days. Popped in with my dad on Wednesday for lunch. Had a decent curry and a couple of pints of old peculiar. At £2.27 a pop it was incredibly good value, especially nowadays. Really good pint to boot. The old place never changes which is great. Will be back next I'm over for sure!”
