“Amazing place to take your children to watch the play and gain confidence before they start nursery.”

“Don't be put off by the exterior of the building as this is a lively community centre with parking to the rear. I visit the Community Centre regularly as my group, Charlemont Amateur Dramatics Society rehearses in one of their rooms and performs its productions in the theatre inside. The building is warm and the atmosphere is friendly. There is a small seating area in the entrance hall with toilets and a food and drinks machine as well as a small shop selling refreshments.”

“Kayleigh and her team at Spon lane are absolutely amazing, they made my daughter excited to go to nursery and definitely made me feel at ease. “We've been visiting Forge Mill Farm for years as we're walking distance away. It used to be a small enterprise with a simple outdoor play area and opportunities to see some cute farm animals. Recently they've massively upped their game so it's even more worth a visit and such good value for money. We've done their lambing and sunflower events in the past and both were wonderful. Today we went to their pumpkin picking patches and they have done such a good job with the indoor and outdoor areas - so many photo opportunities! You can buy varied different squashes as well as the pumpkins but there's no obligation to and the pumpkin areas are included in the general entry. They've also opened a new cafe and indoor play area which is so impressive! We will continue to enjoy many more trips here as our little one grows up.”

“Our visit, 2 adults and 4 children - 6 year old, 5 year old, 3 year old and a baby, was excellent. Staff were friendly, the place was very clean, including the toilets and the children had a lovely time. Plenty to do and plenty of room. I had read several on line reviews and had I have been swayed by them I wouldn’t have gone because they were mostly negative. We didn’t eat there so couldn’t comment on the food. We will definitely go again. Thank you”

“I went to Big John’s and the chicken was excellent. It was well seasoned, crisp on the outside, and juicy inside. The portion was more than enough and tasted fresh. The service was polite and quick, which made ordering easy. The only downside was the cleanliness of the place. The tables and floor could have been better maintained. It didn’t ruin the food, but it stood out. The chicken made the visit worthwhile, but the experience would be stronger if the space matched the quality of the meal.”
