“Arrived in this cafe as it was the first one as we got off the bus, with my nan and mother in law. And we were delighted with the service, Ami and Scott were very welcoming, they too pur order which was a well done bacon, yoke and mushroom on toast and my god it was beautiful!! All done as I requested, yes the toast can with butter on but I raised this to Ami and she changed it straight away and I even gained a free yoke!!! My nan ordered a small breakfast and for the price of £4 it's extremely worth it!! Everything was hot and cooked lovely. We asked for the egg hard and we received it!! My mother in law ordered jam on toast and she stated it was beautiful jam, and a huge benefit as you get to spread it your self and when we asked for more jam, it wasn't a problem and she received more jam! The cups of teas are beautiful!! You add your own milk so it's just your cup of tea!! People need to start giving people a chance!! Ami and Scott are every down to earth people and willing to help!! If you domt mention that you want things changing or something is wrong how are they ment to know that it's wrong or you want it changing!! They had no problem changing things that we requested!! And Ami stopped and had a chat with us and she is really nice and a genuine person! GIVE PEOPLE A CHANCE”

“Firstly the building is beautiful and the layout is so nice with big, spaced out tables, the bar on one end, and cosy corners which provides privacy. We were greeted very politely at the door and shown to our table. Food was amazing, so many veggie options! I had the Methi Matar Malai and the Samosas, best ones I've ever had. Cocktails were great too and 2 for £12 is decent so I had quite a few, and still felt very comfortable in the establishment (many people were drinking but no one was being too loud or creepy). Ordering with the QR code was chill and straightforward and staff were still very attentive but also didn't meddle in anyone's business unless we asked for something, they just left us to eat in peace and only came back to collect dishes at the end. Just all round perfect experience. One thing I will say, the car park is tiny for the size of the restaurant so need to get there early and also book a table in advance/ maybe go during the day rather than evening. We will be back!”

“Had a fantastic experience at Hen and Chicken Bar & Grill! The atmosphere was welcoming and lively, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. “Had this cafe delivery via Uber eats. The food was really nice and not greasy. I would recommend you to try the food here. We love that the wet items (beans and tomato) are in separate cups. Would be nice to have option to remove items from breakfast e.g egg but I'm sure that if you put it in the comments they would do it.”

“This is traditionally a carribean takeaway, but they have recently started serving street food aswell; which I think is a brilliant addition. My meal of Chicken burger, fries and tempura prawns was delicious. Also ordered curry goat with white rice and steamed veg. The meat was really tender and full of flavour. Quick and friendly service. Food was still hot by the time we got home.”

“Very nice steaks, which is what we went for. All the food was good, flavoursome and enjoyable. If you compare to a Miller and carter I found the steaks here much more flavoursome and cheaper, so if you like your steaks put this place on your to do list Not a football fan and that was on every screen you could see. We do plan on returning with more guests next time who also want to try the steaks, that will be in September, so yes all round enjoyable and a return planned.”

“First time I have visited this place with my wife after seeing this premier inn hotel with restaurant being built and of course passing it twice everyday. First class meals and would definitely come back again. Update I tried their breakfast on Friday 14th march £10.99 for unlimited eat as much as you like from English brekkie including cereals, juice, tea or coffee etc also unlimited. A must for the hungryest of people.”
