“Quality and reasonable Indian fare, staff are friendly, the place is practical but pleasant enough. Always swing by on our bi-annual area visit. If you've not tried it, I'd say it's worth the visit. Great for a family get together, big or small groups, would recommend you book though as can get busy.”

“Best Desi Grill in the country. I have been to many in London and Birmingham and the food here is amazing. Has to be tasted to be believed. I tried the mixed grill, plain nan and Soho Chips. Good portion sizes. Ammo who runs the place is very friendly and makes an effort. Recommend to all who appreciate good food.”

“First time I've visited this pub following the change of ownership (was the phoenix), the food was amazing, the best I've had for a while. The staff were really nice & made us feel welcome. If you've not tried this pub for a while, I would definitely advise you to give it a try.”

“BIG MANS FOOD: one of Birmingham’s must try burger joints! If you want American portion sizes and delicious burgers that are towered up and fresh and cheesy ready to be devoured... then this is a must try place! The prices are very reasonable. The chicken and beef patties are succulent. Went for my second visit... this place just gets better and better. We traveled from London and specifically ate here! The wings are quality. The burgers are quality. Service is on point.”

“Weve just had our family festive xmas meal at the Wernley, lovely pub, usually warm but heating was broke but just warm enough not to be uncomfortable. (Hope they get it fixed soon). Friendly staff, very helpful with taking our various payments for our meal, taxi number etc. The food was excellent for the price of under £19 for 3 courses with crackers!! The only thing that was negative was a large party of young adults with young kids & toddlers running around, screaming, crying etc no parental control whatsoever but not the pubs fault i suppose.”

“Friendly staff, great choice or cakes if that's your thing. Only went in for coffee but a bacon bap is only £1 with a drink so it would be rude not to. Light and spacious on the 1st floor. Lift available if you need it. I was on crutches and able to manoeuvre around easily. Tasty food and coffee”

“Very quiet, but that's England at the moment. Chicken tikka jalfrezi was great and washed down with a couple of Cobra...what more could you want! Lovely waiter as well, remembered me from my first visit. Back again today, Tuesday 5th September....had the chicken signature dish and the best chilli and coriander naan I think I have ever had! The place has plenty of capacity and Cobra on draft!”
