“Ordered for the first time last week and quite honestly I don't normally do reviews but this place was outstanding. The pizza was cooked to perfection and piping hot upon delivery the flavor combinations were outstanding and I can't wait to try what else is on the menu over time.”

“Went to Wagamama in Notts today with my friend for lunch. Everything was top notch. The food was delicious. I had the fried greens, ebi katsu, and chicken katsu curry, my friend had the duck gyoza and prawn curry. We had a beer and a cocktail. The food arrived hot and fresh, yummy! Thankyou chefs. The highlight of our stay were the staff. We were greeted by the hostess and taken to our table of choice, served by another friendly young chap, but there's one staff memeber who stood out above all others, anywhere I've ever been to and thats a young lady named Sophie. Studying at university who works to earn her spending money. She was a delight, a credit to Wagamama. She was so kind and friendly, so ambitious and I see a great life ahead for her. I think anything she does, she will do it well. Thanks for the wonderful service Sophie, you were the shining light above all others today, and made our rare luncheon really special. Cheers from Shirley and Vannessa, the 2 women who nearly talked you to death:-)”

“We came here late evening as part of my birthday We were greeted very quickly and given a nice table Drinks were offered straight away but we were given plenty of time to browse the menu and order food (even though I knew straight away what I was having!) The food was not long to wait for and came out sizzling and had been cooked so tender, delicious food and tasty cocktails and reasonable prices Overall fantastic visit and can’t wait to come again”

“Hooters isn't what I expected, in a good way. The food is absolutely outstanding! The best American food in Nottingham and the chicken is to die for. Far from being a seedy place where creepy blokes leer at vulnerable women, I've found Hooters to be quite the opposite. Young families sit around tables, sharing food together and it's a decent casual date location, with plenty of couples eating together. The menu is really good. It's lots of the same stuff in different combos, but this has two great benefits. First of all, with less ingredients you generally get better quality food and that's true here. Secondly, it's made a lot quicker than it otherwise would be as the chefs have more experience with each item than they would at a restaurant with many different items. I recommend the Cajun wings and the Parmesan garlic shrimp, with a side of tots. The coleslaw is a nice side to add. Beer options is probably the worst part of the menu. It's boring and really misses Blue Moon, with nothing similar since they removed it from the menu. I love it, I'll be going again with my fiance, or my work mates, or before the hockey. It's so good I've made it my standard go to food option in the city. Check it out.”

“Visited here on a busy Saturday evening, I didn’t have to wait long for a table and the service was brilliant. Food came out quickly and was piping hot. Catered brilliantly for allergies and felt happy that everything was separated and overseen by a manager. Love the new honey dip that comes with the halloumi starter, a new favourite of mine. Shout out to Connor and Koby, top service and couldn’t be more helpful”

“Had a spot of light lunch and a few drinks (non alcoholic) whilst waiting for my car to be serviced at the nearby Volkswagen garage. It's set on the main road but has a lovely outdoor area as well as plenty of space inside. Was pleasantly surprised with how busy it was on a Monday lunchtime! The staff are absolutely lovely and very polite / attentive. Really clean environment - including the toilets which were spotless. The food was really fresh, incredibly tasty and good value. It's a greene king so you know that the drinks are going to be cheap but they were still nice. Overall I was really satisfied with the experience and I look forward to coming back and trying some more of the menu.”

“Dropped in last minute as needed to have an urgent teams meeting. I think it's important for Greene King to recognise what a quality Barmaid they have in Emma, she couldn't do enough to accommodate me. Really impressed. Had a couple of drinks and ended up having a bite to eat, absolutely no complaints with the food. Was an unplanned stop but defo encouraged a return. Nice one Emma, you made the visit!”

“Ordered trellis panel over phone. Placed behind desk for collection. Was going Tues but decided to go Mon evening. However panel too wide. Took back Tues morning. This was not a problem. Assistant very helpful throughout. Excellent service. Refund given. Will return”

“Went for breakfast with Santa. It was set up really well and you could do things at your own pace which was good. The food selection was good with tea and coffee included. All if the staff were really lovely but Julie really went above and beyond for us :)”

“I love the chicken kebab they serve here with the red marinade, I believe it is tandoori. The lamb is a bit too hot for me but I still like it. I usually have the mix one. Very big portion.”

“Went for a bottomless brunch as usual place was fully booked and I'm glad it was! Tacos were awesome and the cocktails on the brunch menu were far beyond what I had expected. The staff were also very friendly and passionate. Would definitely go again for a brunch/some tacos and or cocktails! Best Pina Colada I've ever had!”

“Usually I don’t like pizza that has a crunch, but this pizza had the perfect crunch. I had the meathead but swapped out the ham for nduja + hoy honey drizzle. RECOMMEND Overall great experience, no complaints.”

“Dropped in with my Dad on Sunday for a cuppa but ended up having a breakfast each as well. The food was excellent all made from local tasty ingredients. The service was lovely and super friendly. Could not fault it and will defiantly be returning. It was a pleasure to spend our time and money at this establishment. “We were dropping our son to the University of Nottingham end of September and stumbled upon Compà in Beeston on our first night of arrival. It was our son’s suggestion and we decided to check it out! I am so glad we did! The food was delicious and it was like visiting a family - cosy, warm ambiance and pretty lights inside that made it feel festive and special on a week night. We were pretty tired after flying from US to London, than taking a train to Nottingham the next morning so it was especially nice to sit down and take time to enjoy this place, yummy food while we planned next few days. We stroke a conversation with the owner who turned out to be such a wonderful kind person and it made us feel even more comfortable and welcome. It was a lovely experience and a warm welcome. Would highly recommend! Moments like this make sweet memories and have special place in my heart. Grateful for discovering this restaurant and meeting Angela. Many thanks!”

“One of the best breakfast that I had in UK, seriously, they are amazing. From outside the restaurant/shop doesn't look much, but once you pass their door, you will be surprised by a counter full of amazing products, some of them local. The restaurant go all the way to the back and they also have a beautiful garden. The food is all good quality, nicely prepared and delicious. I recommend trying any of the local products that they sell. They are delicious. I do recommend them!”

“My husband and I stumbled across this pub after doing a walk in the area and we were really pleasantly surprised. This has to be one of the nicest outdoor seating areas I’ve come across! So many gorgeous flowers and just such a pleasant atmosphere. We had the steak pie which was lovely and a nice cold pint that went down a treat. The staff were lovely and friendly and the prices were very reasonable too! So, if it’s a nice day and you’d like a drink in a lovely, quiet beer garden, look no further!”

“I've been to KC'S for lunch a couple of times and the food is always excellent and really good value with a friendly service. Yesterday evening I attended my first bistro night there- I was so impressed with the atmosphere, the service and the food was delicious plus it's bring your own so a lovely night out with friends that didn't cost the earth- I'll definitely be back! Thank you KC'S team for such a wonderful night!”

“The first time we came they only supplied coffee and cake, but now they offer lunches. Yay. The first thing that strikes me, it’s a lovely atmosphere. Nice and friendly staff and customers. It’s great to see they welcome laptop working and have a fair guide available to see. Encouragement for extended laptop working is upstairs with a nominal fee. Parking is available in the Broxtowe’s car park is opposite or if you can keep you visit time down to 30mins there is free street parking round the corner (we managed 35 mins and didn’t get a ticket). It is on the tram route with a stop just 2 mins up the road. The tomato soup with sourdough was lovely. The facilities are spacious and clean.”
