“I really can’t say enough good things about Luke, all the team and my experiences at Shakespeare Drive. I’ve been going to an NHS dentist for all of my life, and I was left feeling let down and anxious after they recommended a tooth be extracted when I thought it could be saved. I decided to get a second opinion from Shakespeare Drive and I’m so grateful I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in safe hands. Luke not only saved my tooth with a root canal and crown, he actually listened to me. He has been phenomenal. He took the time to do proper xrays and found other work that my NHS dentist overlooked for years and would have cause me significant problems if unresolved. When I spoke to my NHS dentist about the additional work, they simply said they’d “monitor it”, which I was disappointed and frustrated by. Needless to say, I will not be going back to them. Because of the trust that I gained in Luke and the team, I’m now having my other work done at Shakespeare Drive rather than through my NHS dentist. Given my experiences during my root canal and crown, I really trust that work is being done properly, thoroughly and to a high quality. What really blew me away was how caring everyone has been. I’d lost a lot of faith in dentists after past experiences, but Luke, Jas, the Dental Nurses, Receptionists have all made me feel like I mattered and have been so kind - not only with me, but with each other. They’ve checked in on me, explained everything clearly, and went above and beyond with aftercare. It’s rare to find a place where everyone genuinely seems to love what they do and it really does show. If you’re nervous about the dentist or if you’ve had bad experiences in the past, give them a try. They don’t just fix problems, they really care about oral health and hygiene and they can restore your trust in dentistry. You won’t feel rushed, just a number, or sat waiting around because they have overbooked to see a ridiculous amount of people in a short timeframe. Also the practice is so clean and modern which is always a bonus, and if you go there at Christmas time they have an amazing tree in reception with very unique decorations. I’m so grateful I found them. Thank you so much for everything. This review really does come from the heart.”

“I needed a very old filling removed and replaced with a crown. I don't mind visiting the dentist at all and Umae has always been fantastic but as it's been a long time since I needed such a lengthy procedure I was a little apprehensive when my appointment came around. I needn't have worried at all as having told Umae how I was feeling she went out of her way to reassure me and put me at ease. My first appointment did indeed turn out to be a long one and afterwards I typed some words into my phone so I wouldn't forget how Umae and the staff had looked after me during my visit. The words I wrote were: skilled, professional, kind, calm, patient and reassuring. When my treatment had been completed I went on to use the Boutique whitening system. As my teeth were towards the 'dark' end of the scale this took both patience and perseverance over several months. During this time Umae was, as always, kind and helpful and so encouraging of my efforts. I now have a much brighter smile and am so pleased that I used the whitening system. Umae is an excellent dentist and all the staff I have encountered at the practise (Izzy, Victoria and Julie) are warm, welcoming and professional. Many thanks to everyone for looking after me!”

“I can’t vouch for every dentist at the practice, but if they’re all anything like Fauzania, then dental phobia might just go extinct. Honestly, if more dentists were this gentle, calm, and downright lovely, “fear of the dentist” would be a thing kids read about in history books. Even the receptionist—who, let’s face it, can sometimes be the real test of nerves—was an absolute delight. No icy glares, no clipboard interrogations, just smiles and warmth. A plot twist I didn’t see coming! Now, I’ve been seeing dentists twice a year for 49 years (that’s a lot of fluoride), and I’ve never felt so at ease in The Chair. Every step was explained clearly—whether it was a puff of air or a cheek pull, nothing came as a surprise. I didn’t even do the usual death grip on the armrests! “I walked in off the street, looking for advice. Before I knew I was sitting in the dentist’s chair, something I would normally have to work myself up to for days. I am an extremely nervous patient and even walking in the door was a huge step for me. I recently went to my dentist for a crown replacement, x-ray was taken, and was told it could be replaced, no problem, the appointment lasted about 5 minutes. The dentist at Solihull practise, took the time to look at how the crown replacement would affect the rest of my teeth and advised, yes it was possible to he bought my attention to the obvious difficulties. The tooth under the crown has pushed forward so any replacement would probably not be in line with my teeth. Obvious once it was pointed out. He took time to explain what my different options are and will follow up with a phone call. If you are a nervous, anxious patient I highly recommend you give this practice a go. I even managed to have a giggle with the staff. Five plus stars”
