John and his team helped us to achieve the design and look we wanted. The kitchen fitter, Spencer was first rate and solved many little problems along the way - his attention to detail was wonderful. Also the other tradesmen who came to work on the job were polite, tidy and helped to create our wonderful, new kitchen. “What a great find local to me too ! I approached Emily to ask if she would upholster my garden furniture, as my cushions were torn and marked. She quoted me within a few hours and I bought the all weather material and dropped it all off . The seat cushions were done in no time and have to say look absolutely amazing on my reclining garden chairs . I can’t speak highly enough of the workmanship that has gone into this transformation. All the staff I’ve met have been very welcoming and polite too . I would highly recommend Emily for any furniture upholstery work . Oh and the shop is lovely too ! Some great unique items to buy . I looked online for a replacement but there was nothing even near to the design, but we were visiting Heart of the Country and I suggested that we popped into the Allen Brown Gallery, where we'd bought the original, not thinking that we'd find the same one all these years on. There was exactly the same ring in a cabinet but not the right size, they offered to order a new one but the new ones were a bright finish. R wanted matt, like his original. That wasn't a problem either. We picked up the ring this week, it was perfect! Thank you to everyone. They were all so helpful, nothing was a problem, they made it all so easy. Brilliant, caring service from really lovely people.”
