“I’ve been taking my puppy to It’s a Dog Life for 5 months now, one day a week, and they are always so flexible if I need an extra day. The cost is so reasonable compared to a dog walker, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s cared for all day while I’m at work. The staff are amazing – especially Louise, who my dog absolutely adores! He’s always so excited when we pull up, and often doesn’t want to leave. He’s also had a groom here and it was excellent. In fact, when I took him for a last-minute bath at Pets at Home, they asked who groomed him and said it was one of the best they’d seen. I would honestly be lost without this service. Highly recommend!”

“Amazing boarding kennels. If I could give them 10/10 I would. Always look after our large breed dog and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. We had a bad experience before and Toot Hill changed our view immediately even from the first look around. Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. The service is very competitively priced and reasonable. Emma is brilliant in responding to boarding requests via WhatsApp and they are very accommodating. My dog is always happy to see us when we pick him up, but also happy to see the team at TootHill on arrival which makes the process of leaving him a little less stressful! Thank you to the team”

“Merle has cared for both my Frenchie and my little ratties if I’ve been away. She is very caring and kind and my doggy adores her. I cant even say her name without her diving all over the place! Merle also sends lovely photos to you throughout the day which is a lovely touch. Couldn’t think of anyone better to be a dog walker. Rain or shine she is always there. Thanks x”

“Absolutely love Chris. My little girl Skye loves him so much and it’s very clear he loves her too and it’s not just a job to him. She’s so excited when he comes to pick her up and I’ve seen her in person out on a walk with him and her friends and she’s a completely different dog. She’s confident and in her own little world. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. The daily emails after a walk with pictures of the walk make me smile. I love seeing her having the time of life. She’s a tiny dog and can be nervous at times with other dogs, but size doesn’t bother her when out with Chris. He’s done amazing to boost her confidence and I really couldn’t ask for anything better. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone”

“Pippa was great with our two from the moment we booked. Little walks, daycare, and single night stop over to help get to know each other. Then, when the stay came, a good amount of feedback, photos and videos let us know they were enjoying being with her and the other dogs she cared for. Definitely hope to use again next year.”

“Our dog Trevor loves walking with Richard, he’s been with him from 13 weeks old and gets so excited to see him. Would recommend always to people in the area!! Richard also looked after our cats when we went on holiday which gave us a great peace of mind as our cats aren’t very sociable but they were able to stay in the comfort of their own home. 10/10 from us!”

“I independently volunteer here on a weekly basis and they are a wonderful genuinely caring team of true animal lovers in a stunning location. The boarding rooms are hygienic and well sanitised and they run like clockwork to keep things routines and consistent for the animals in their care which minimises stress. The staff are accommodating to individual needs and are well communicated, and the animals are treated with love and respect. The dogs have access to a large secure exercise field with toys to play with and staff to interact with. If I ever needed to look for boarding for my two dogs I wouldn't hesitate to bring them here even if it is a 50 miles drive each way”

“We have just collected our dog from Andy’s today after she has spent a week there. This was her first decent stay with him and his family, after having a couple of trial days previously. It’s clear that’s she’s absolutely loved her stay!! We couldn’t be more pleased with the service, and at a very reasonable price too! We’ve had regular updates and it’s been so lovely to hear that she’s had lots of play time with the other dogs and lots of walks, both of which she adores. She was so pleased to see us when she came home but after her tea is now sparko which indicates how much she’s done this week. What a wonderful holiday she’s had! “We have used Shearbridge Vets for over 20 years with various pets. They’re always caring, compassionate, doing the best for the animal and discussing the issues realistically. They’re give you the pros and cons of each procedure and test, advising on what is best for the animal while also considering the cost - which is unfortunately a factor we all have to consider. This company only want to do what’s best for pets and their families, they have never advised a test “just because” for profit, only for the animal’s benefit. I trust and recommend these vets to anyone who is interested / needs a vet. Whether it’s a check over or an emergency they’ve always been 100%, and we have had a couple of emergencies - including a house fire where the pets involved needed an urgent check up and were seen almost immediately.
