“I visited Calder vets in Mirfield today for my bunny. The service provided by the veterinarian and receptionist were amazing. My rabbit was treated by Iwona who was so kind and helpful, and I could clearly see she cared about peaches (my bunny). Amazing service I couldn’t be more satisfied x”

“We have used Shearbridge Vets for over 20 years with various pets. They’re always caring, compassionate, doing the best for the animal and discussing the issues realistically. They’re give you the pros and cons of each procedure and test, advising on what is best for the animal while also considering the cost - which is unfortunately a factor we all have to consider. This company only want to do what’s best for pets and their families, they have never advised a test “just because” for profit, only for the animal’s benefit. I trust and recommend these vets to anyone who is interested / needs a vet. Whether it’s a check over or an emergency they’ve always been 100%, and we have had a couple of emergencies - including a house fire where the pets involved needed an urgent check up and were seen almost immediately. Thanks Shearbridge, I’ll be back next week!”
“I have been a client of the Avenue Vets for 50 years, initially in Saltaire and now at Bingley. They are a lovely team and take good care of my waifs and strays that I take on.”

“Great, knowledgeable people who care about animals. They have x-ray facilities and do some operations on site. Part of a local chain, with an animal hospital in Halifax for out-of-hours services. Offers a 'pet plan' for a direct debit of about £14/month, which includes all flea and worming treatments for the year, and also the annual vaccination. The practice was recommended to me by a friend, and I have recommended it to others.”
“My dog was due for a 6 monthly checkup and annual vaccinations, as well as a Citapoint injection and the administration of her flea and wormer tablet (which she won’t take from me). We received a warm welcome at the Reception Desk, with hugs and treats for my dog, and an excellent session with vet Stuart Black, who made my dog feel very much at home in the surgery, and not only conducted the procedures very efficiently, but gave very helpful nutritional advice.”
“Great vets. Been going with our dog since he was a puppy. He’s now 14. Would highly recommend”
“Lisa the nurse at Donaldson Vets Sowerby Bridge was outstanding. I needed advice about my 15 year old dog who was dying at home. Even though I wasn't registered with this practice, I just needed guidance and advice from a professional. Lisa without hesitation assisted me and was very knowledgeable and reassuring and gave me the answers I needed to my questions. Lisa is a truly caring person and absolutely a credit to the Veterinary trade. Thankyou so much Lisa and all the best for the future. Jason”
